[Season 8] Holodeck crashes on startup (Latest update: Pg. 319, post #3190)

    lmfao i know right.. but they still havent found a fix to two other tickets. hopefully they will by tomorrow.

    Yeah I suppose it would lol. even more bizarre would be getting a nanunanu error code.

    It could also go like this:

    1. Load STO Launcher
    2. Cryptic's Patch is applied
    3. Hit "Engage"
    4. STO loads
    5. Reaches Character Screen
    6. At the time any captain reaches his ship, THIS appears on the whole screen.
    7. STO Crashes
    8. Instead of an ID number, THIS LINK is generated.
    9. A final message pops up: "Thank you for waiting for Star Trek Online!"

    If you guys do get your issue fixed before I do, would you all kindly leave some reading materials and some snacks for me? Perhaps a sleeping bag? Empty threads can get mighty cold in winter.

    What nobody realizes is that these glitches could all be interlinked. This Launcher crash could just open the field up to another crash loader. Remember: these all come in 3's. LOLS
    possibilities are a thing of hope, sometimes it drives us toward something better

    I have tried doing an update of my video card driver, but it is up to date.

    Radeon X1250...and not finding much support at all....any help?

    Unfortunately there is nothing you (we) can do from our end. Only Cryptic's programmers can fix our crashes. The next patch is coming tomorrow. So fingers crossed. This is Branflakes latest update about our situation.

    yeah I feel special I googled the ticket number apparently my ticket was a problem in neverwinter....back in may. however there didn't seem to be a fix and even if there was its the wrong game.

    I feel like I have been a Persistent Officer for far too long. A week later... Still the same error, on Holodeck and Tribble. 00000011 00110001 00111000 00111000 00111001 00110111 00110111 00110100 00110001

    I just couldn't look at the same number... again... So now you have seen it in binary!

    So I haven't seen anyone else with the ticket I have but I find it odd that it crashes in about the same place as everyone else, and never happened before I downloaded the season that shall not be named.

    Been part of this thread for a while. Just have been in and out. Sorry just irritated with this. Server issues I can handle, game crashes, however, especially when it is NOT on my end, and even when they have been reported.....I have never played a game that has taken this long to fix. Trying to find the silver lining.......

    I'd imagine that they patch the launcher and we end up with a new launcher crash with the warning: Q Has Arrived: AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

    Just tried Tribble, and its actually a little worse than it was before. Didnt even get to character select screen.

    Said there was a fatal graphics issue and crashed to desktop.

    Error 25884564 according to the crash handler.

    On a related note:

    Will we be getting compensation of any kind for the lost lobi and other stuff? (over 3,000 zen by my estimate).
