    Mission's great. :)

The only thing I'm having trouble is keeping the freaking T'liss alive at the end for the accolade.

    Fun episode.

If anything, exposition heavy... But I could dig this style of mission being used to setup adventure zones or reps.

Then you get your action in the zone itself.

Then hopefully the end of a rep chain carries the story through.

And then the next season could cap off the last FE a bit.

    What.

I've had the T'Liss explode for no apparent reason one at least two of my playthroughs. It doesn't take any damage in the first wave and then poof, it explodes.

Great episode, Worf's presence made it better.. quick side note while not paying attention fell off the edge of a walkway and got a accolade. Leap of faith.

Loved this mission. Probably my favorite so far. Getting to hear Michael Dorn come back as Worf was AMAZING.

For those of you who didn't get your Advanced Swarmers yet, here's how:

First get the accolade "Reconnaissance" by checking all the optional consoles on the sides of the main blue paths. These are marked by yellow, green, and red icons. Once you get to the last main blue console, Worf will make a remark about the Delta Quadrant. On your mission log this will give you 6/6 consoles checked. BEFORE you go to the last platform, go back to the first optional console. You should now see an option to check the hidden cache. Do so, and you will receive 2 Advanced Obelisk Swarmer pets.

I really had my doubts about what Michael Dorn could bring to a single mission after hearing the awkwardly edited in voice over snippets in the gametrailers trailer, but I was very much impressed at how well you sink into that Trek feeling with him. His commentary was very well written.

If there was one thing I would say about this mission without spoiling the story, is that series and STO continuity has been placed center stage, and what a difference it makes! I was enthralled at all the hark backs to TNG, DS9 and even Voyager! To see a storyline from an old episode picked up in this way is really engaging.

Simply superb and great fun to play.

Thanks Cryptic. Job well done. Really looking forward to Season 8 now. :)

I didn't have to go back to the start, I got mine at the console down the last blue path before going up to the last platform.

I already had the "Reconnaissance" accolade from my first run, so that may have been why...

Indeed, I'm hoping this is an hint that BOFFs are going to be improved/get expanded powers finally (the long missing department head/first officer system that was supposed to be part 2 of the DOFF system perhaps?).

Liked this mission a lot. Plenty of 'first-in' exploration was nice, and it touchstoned a bunch on established Trek. Even the optional data fit in with some things the Romulan scientist said to you early in the mission. It was also great to see the 'grand discussion' so critical to Trek, and actually witness policy being established, rather than just read about it on a blog.

So is the RRW Lleiset, the name of the Romulan Republic flagship? Since the KDF and UFP ones were present.

That's quite the paradox, how could you nerf nerf when the nerf is nerfed. But how would the nerf be nerfed when the nerf is nerfed? This allows the nerf not to be nerfed since the nerf is nerfed? But if the nerf isn't nerfed, it could still nerf nerfs. But as soon as the nerf is nerfed, the nerf power is lost. So paradoxally it the nerf nerf lost its nerf, while it's still nerfed, which cannot be because the nerf was unable to nerf.

I call it, the Stoutes paradox.

This mission, all of the LoR missions, and the new Fed tutorial are top notch. The old missions feel extremely unprofessional compared to the new stuff.

Link all of the linkable platforms.

Once thats done, go all the way back to the earth platform.

Head down the path marked with the yellow indicator.

There will be a second option on that and all of the other "dark" platforms.

I think this is the best mission that Cryptic has ever delivered. It provided answers instead of simply throwing a new ship and enemy at us. The writing had lots of touchstones. It was really superb.

I wish the team could deliver these more often. I also wish some of the tools, like the sidebar text boxes could make it into the foundry.

    Great episode. More stories, please.

This, most definitely. I know it's highly unlikely, but it'd be glorious if in addition to adding new stuff (which we do need), the old content could be remastered to fit the new, much shinier, much better mold.

All told, I feel like STO is finally coming into the potential it started out with years ago.

It's my hope that at some point they will redo all the Federation content to bring it up to par with the Romulan missions. They could also port some of it over to the KDF (the Cardassian front) and please end this ridiculous war. The war is over, there is too much cooperation between the Feds and KDF now. At least let there be a cease fire or a peace envoy on the go.

Top notch mission though, had to play through pretty quickly tonight but will take my time with other toons.

I also like with this mission they go back to an episode of Star Trek TNG that was an amazing episode and they are tying in the Iconians.

The boogiemen of the game are creeping more into the limelight. I wonder where it will take us...tu-de-dum...

I rather enjoyed the new Featured Episode.

And the thing I absolutely love is the teasers for possible storylines into the Gamma Quadrant and the Andromeda Galaxy (guess someone was indeed reading my posts). :D

The only complaints that I have is that the evacuation was too identical to Stargate Universe. And that I don't recall people running through with the boxes, not to mention I'm not sure why people would grab the boxes, they would be running for their lives.

And that the Solonegen-based lifeforms, were suddenly compatible with our atmosphere, when in TNG they wasn't. And they weren't on a security alert when there is like 20 aliens on their station, but didn't alert until the gate was activated.

Also, when at the Earth View, ESD was glitched so you saw only parts of it rendered.
