    so i logged into the launcher to update to get the free ship of today and the launcher is going very slow. is anyone else have a very slow launcher at the moment?

    It's hanging at ShaderCache.hogg (!) You gotta appreciate the irony of the extension on that name: .hog :P

    Well I'm in the same boat sadly lol. Was hoping to get in to the community event today as I wanted to try my skill against a bunch of Klingons. Hopefully, I can still use my friends PC at 5 when he should be getting home lol.

    Oh well :( I suppose I can do that silly thing called "work" instead.

    patch just jumped forward quite a bit, think it's going to finish loading, Thanks Brandon

    I deleted the cache folder, which contained the shaderCache.hogg file and its still going slow. Might the .hogg files in the pigs folder also be causing trouble with the patching?

    The file shows at 10%.... An hour and still at 10% what gives? FIX

    My patch time:

    Just came home from a meeting for postgrad, cool servers up lets patch. Watching True Blood atm, fed the cat, did the dishes, made dinner, went for another 10 minute walk to the shops... the lady will be happy when she gets home :P

    Although i'm not stuck at like 61% from the 80% before restarting it lol. This is gonna take all evening :P

    Update... null crash. Great lol.

    Going by the patch speed we will get ingame by sometime tomorrow. So much for the free stuff xD

    It's slow patching for me as well. Location is Northern Europe. Almost complete now though! :)

    I've gone back to 51%, and the .hogg file is only at 23%

    Mine's stalling. Tried restarting a couple of times, and its being horrendously slow still. Had trouble just starting up and connecting to the account server.

    I've been stuck at 60% the last two hours, no matter how much I restart patching. This is getting ridiculous.

    I Am Mad Now, Its Done, But It Keeps Saying It Found A File That Was Locked And Restart In 10... This Is Rediculous, Fix It Cryptic!!!!!!!!!

    Stuck at 59% to, only thing increasing is the "recieved" bar, gonna go out to eat and check on it when i get back. I will personally eat my computer if its not done...

    Also .hogg flie now speeding up loads. think it's no longer a problem. SORTED :D

    Either my launcher forgot basic maths, or I'm downloading uncompressed files. The amount of patch data "Received" exceeds the amount of data left to patch.
