    I shut down and tried opening the loader again and it now quits at 58%

    hmm still doesn't seem to be working I'm at 59 percent and stuck.

    88% for 44 minutes, I know how long as I started watching a TV show that lasted 60 minutes. It took 16 minutes to reach 88% and now it is moving so slow it makes me look like a champion sprinter.

    Patching for me has been great for the last 4 months (even LoR didn't cause major issues). I figure that today's speed (or lack of) is because of a pretty big fix (anyone who has read of the 110 will have some idea what I mean) and the fact that Cryptic is giving away FREE SHIPS!
    I mean, come on, by this point in a give-away week I would expect almost everyone who isn't crazy or ignorant to have twigged to the freebies and be wanting to get them ASAP.
    Patching is slow, but I still have 22+hours to claim my ships so I'll worry when it is still patching at 5.50pm UK time (or 9.50am PDT) on Friday :D

    It's still slower than paint drying.
