The numbers are misleading in that it cant' heal more than your shield capacity would allow. So at best, the Valdore will have about 10000 at each shield facing, assuming no field generator used.
It's only an issue to DHC based Escorts who obviously see this as OP. But if you are a little more creative in your approach, you can easily counter such ship with many other tactics. VM was mentioned as good alternative. I can also add Graviton Pulse to lock the ship and root it, which cannot be countered with APO. You can also do the old fashion Alpha off cloak, which should down its shield facing quick enough but away from his DHC arc.
I remember flying the Valdore at Lv 22, using that console and I was easily beaten by Lv 50 Sci in my fleet. Granted, he was 28 Lv higher than me but it shows the console is not invincible. His spec includes tractor beam mines and heavy user of VM and Photonic fleet. I was stuck most of the time that the console had little opportunity to proc.

That being said, the part about everyone having to adapt to a new alpha ship just to be able to kill said alpha ship... and retool everything just in case said alpha ship MIGHT be on the other side... strikes me as patently absurd.
At this rate we might as well just hand everyone an instant i-win button the moment they pay cryptic 10 bucks or something. Normally youd never heard me ***** about p2w, but this is the most OTT thing ive ever seen, in any MMO i have played over the last 12 years. A ship... that heals itself... as it destroys everything around it... based on how much destruction it can put out.

It's OP, because you can get insane healing without having to do more than fire your weapons and slot the console.
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.

I'm pretty sure this is why people were complaining about their hulls magically vanishing - their hull was getting damaged normally, but their shields were always at 100% whenever they looked.

Don't know who you are talking to, but since I was the one saying I'm basically invincible with this console you are probably talking about my post from last page. However I wasn't playing PvP last night, so we couldn't possibly have met. Also I don't run this console on my Fleet Mogai anymore when I'm in PvP. I only tested it once for a single engagement and shield healing numbers between 10k-50k kept flickering across my screen. If this is not OP, what is it then?
wasn't talking to you or about you... a poster on page 3 said they played with a player who was 'immortal'... and named the player. i was only saying that this console does not make u invisible and that i played with said player and by fact that he died at least twice though i was healing him like mad shows this console does not make u immortal.

He died one time when my fleetmate decloaked behind him and spiked him out when he had no one to shoot because everyone else was dead.
Lucky placement and nothing more, the entire rest of the fight he alone destroyed us, no one else was even a factor. I find it amusing to hear you claim you healed him like mad, since in the fight Im thinking of the healing stats for the other players on his team were five digits, whereas he had over 1.5 million (along with more damage than the other nine players in the game combined)

It doesn't make you immortal, of course, just damn hard to kill. I went through an entire C&H without dying in my TVaro, which has the hull strength of a spitball. And I shudder to think about Fleet Elite Shields with this console.

This morning I was on Lyzara, my rommie, right? And I queue up... and there are a couple of HBO and dental guys in the matches.
Now im sitting there fighting everyone but "Tufty eyebrows" or whatever his name was... and im killing them just fine.
Then "tufty eyebrows" engages me... and i unload on him. Like magic he takes no damage...
but i died almost instantly, the same result id expected my squared on alpha strike to do to him. funny isnt it? i spammed out my buffs and attack specials... he took not a scratch. he spams out his (note we arent even dogfighting, we pretty much head to head chicken because he was being so smug).... and i didnt even move him... yet im roast.
Maybe if the normal result of one of us dying with the other at 30-40 percent hull with a facing down had happened, I might think this was legit. But we know it isnt...
Yet somehow everyone else in the fight... I could damage severely or kill... hmmmm
Oh and the hilarous moment when he started using epta to pop my cloak 20-30k away so he could find me and stop me from killing everyone else... yeah that was amusing too. (glad thats fixed now)
Oh and the part where he had four people on him by himself while the rest of the group was sitting over on one of fed logos (it was a cap and hold map) chilling... made my whole day. Especially when i killed two of them.

Im actually trying to figure out why exactly a rom ship even needs another method for self healing anyway. They have typical boff layouts for the usual skills, they already have the extra heal from the singularity they could select... why do they need that too? Considering how much damage a well specced rommie escort can already do, it just doesnt seem sensible to add even more survivability to them. I mean they all come standard with battle cloak on top of it all. Its almost like the devs intended to create a half dozen alpha ships that when put together the way people have been the last few days... become the new pre-cu jedi of swg lore or dks of wow.

Because Cryptic wants to push Rommie ship sales and having a Rom "must have" console works wonders in that regard? This console is the new equivalent of the KDF leech, its even brokenly good to boot. If it was available for non Rom ship people would get it for all their ships, that's how you know its too good.
so if you have this consoles and the fed fleet elite phasers that also have a chance to heal when you shoot....
and all the other doodads and gizmos that basically auto heal you.....

Good thing I also have Quantum Absorbtion, which gives me more than enough time for my HE to fully heal my hull, even if it was on CD when you hit me.

Quite the contrary, they are separate heads of the same antediluvian beast fuelling 125 to 130 perma shield power monstrosities with EPTS 1 and Fleet Shields and 25% chance to Crit DHC shoot-healz.
Then we should let people have fun with their broken equipment for a while and let the current design make them think it's working as intended that nothing can harm their ships. It will make their tears much more delicious when the nerfhammer beats the TRIBBLE out of the Valdore console.
Cryptic however may decide to take action sooner if enough people realise that they can't possibly score firstplace in fleet events when a ship with valdore console is present in the team.
