I haz to say, I throughly enjoyed myself last night. I was at first apprehensive if I would gel with the character but she flowed much better than even Nim at the start. I was totally immersed so much so that at one point when Loki snuck up on me as the Captain I actually pooped myself a little bit.....

Here we go folks. We promised you competitions and boy do we have a doozy!
With the announcement of a featured starbase project rerun we are running a little competition.
From May 9th 2013, 10am PDT (1pm EST, 6pm GMT) everyone's fleet credits will be taken into account.
Previous credit will not be counted so credit you earn from the above time till the end of the competition will only apply.
Its dead simple. The person who contributes the most and earns the most fleet credits in this time, WINS!
Now you have to be careful, not all items produce the same amount of fleet credit, i.e. Fleet Marks net you more than Commodities. So make sure you bare that in mind to maximize your gain.
However, also keep in mind, that if projects aren't finished, we cant put new ones up.
The competition ends when the featured rerun does.
Our prizes are as follows.
1st Place - Jem'Hadar Heavy Escort Carrier
2nd Place - Your choice of Mirror Universe Ship
3rd Place - 1 Million Energy Credits

What is SSO? SSO is a group that banded together with one goal in mind, to have fun as a group.
This group doesn't have pesky overlords or secret police forces watching your every move in game or on the forums. What we have is a fun drama free environment where your gameplay and ideas can soar.
We never put restrictions on players, we never say you can't do something, or bring your ideas down cause your new. Once your in your in, that simple, no one is better, no one is worse.
When I got into my first fleet a very wise Admiral told me we try our best to follow a simple idea, the IDIC, and while that wonderful idea is just that, after a while seams and cracks showed in the system that was used.
Infinity diversity is only applicable when the walls that seperate rank and member in a fleet are torn down, too many divisions too many ranks only shows the flaws that can be had. At SSO you never have to worry about what rank will let you do what in a fleet, cause we don't have them, its simple, members first, thats whats important.
Our members that have been intrusted with Admin dutys have one mission, to be there if you need anything, they don't have positions of power, they don't decide the fates of Galaxy's, cause this is a game, not ancient rome.

Thats the first question I would ask yourself, second thing I would do though is make sure that the fleet your about to pick stands by what they state in their recruitment of you.
What does SSO offer? Community, a laid back Community looking for one thing and one thing only, to have fun in as many was possible in STO. This isn't a Elite group, we never demand perfection, we just wanna hang out in game a enjoy our time.
To me a fleet should be all about escape, escaping the lonely grind, escaping reality for a brief moment while you enjoy the time you spend in game. No ladder climbing, no rules of when or how many times you have to be on a month, and never any rules about how you have that fun.
I was going to PM you to say I've leaft my old fleet to join you guys but apparently I'm not allowed to PM you, also could't post an app on the forum either...I figured it's probably because of those drunk mails I sent out a while back, but still if you'd still have me I'd like to come over :P
