Though I am prepared to admit - Armed with 52 disruptor banks, 27 photon torpedo bays might be aimed a wee bit high for STO
I don't see why that is realistic. Just because a vessel has 52 disruptor banks, it doesn't mean it needs to be firing 52 disruptor pulses at the same time.

It's like a Galaxy Class having what, 11 phaser arrays? I don't believe I've ever seen a Galaxy Class fire off 11 beams at any given time. ;)
What I do find really interesting though is how the Remans, essentially a "slave-race" of the Romulan Empire were able to design and develop such a predatory warship without the Romulans knowing about it???
Shinzon had support from within Imperial ranks. He probably collaborated the design. It wasn't a pure Reman ship. It was probably built secretly at some hidden base.

I could very well see the Scimitar as a carrier, it's big enough. And then it wouldn?t be so crippled by it's probably horrible turn rate.... :)

Well, she did have those fighters aboard in ST:Nemesis if I remember correctly. ;)

    I really like it too.

And you know what? There are some similarities with the Romulan T2 ship with this. Seems like Cryptic stole aspects of this person's design. Pretty low Cryptic. :(

Because coincidences are impossible. Yeah, sure.

Yeah, I'm not letting them pull another "coincidence card" after what they did with the Regent.

Y'know I looked at those a while back when you first started talking about that. Other than the silhouette from the side being similar there was really very little about it that was anything like your Regent.

Yeah, definately. I looked at Galen's design and it has very little in common with Jamz's work.

Galen's is a really pretty ship and would look awesome in STO. It combines aspects of the D'D and Mogai, but it has far more fluid lines than Jamz's ship does. A bit too fluid maybe. It looks almost organic.

I already gave you an essay on why I disagree with you there. I'm happy to write another one...

My plan is to have a Romulan and a Reman character, with one flying a Mogai-class while the other has a bird-of-prey (22nd century design).

I wonder, though, whether the D7-class might be available? Pro: It's an iconic ship and already in-game available to the Klingons, and was a Romulan ship in TOS and TAS.

Now that I think of it, you can probably access this class anyway by allying with the Klingons... :D

The Question you should be asking is how you get in on the Closed beta.

They have a bug hunting team? or do they just ignore them and not fix the bugs already in game?

The bugs now hunt the team.
