    Bran, I'm still seeing the error.

    I had this problem.
    My Fix:
    Cleared Browser cache
    Logged computer out
    Logged back in
    Started Luancher
    Works fine


    I even logged into the game, all the way into a loaded character, exited game and started the prepatch with no problem.

    Still can't login! My desktop is pre-patched and my notebook isn't. I still get the same error. Unable to connect to patch server on both systems! :(

    Still having issues. sto.perfectworld.com works great, startrekonline.com and champions-online.com are not working and the launchers seem to use those instead.

    EDIT: When both sites were down earlier I was in STO and had no other issues than the old main sites not working (besides the known issues with character copy).

    I had to reinstall I had to troubleshoot on own I was able to repatch and worked fine so far till this weeks patch

    I did the whole clear history log out thing, and I still cant get in. Still getting error message.

    Tried what darkstarkirian recommended and it still errors out after two attempts.

    Odd. Maybe the internet surfing for the elections are allowing the borg to block us out? :cool:

    This issue is the same one that hit me a few months back that stopped me playing for a month

    There still appears to be a lack of a route to patchserver.crypticstudios.com; Traceroute is showing the connection dying off in Boston somewhere.

    Also still having problems. Attempted to flush my computers DNS cache, as well as history, cookies, etc. No luck. I could try a reinstall if it comes down to it.

    Perhaps the Tholians put a web around the patch server?

    Launcher is trying to patch, but cannot connect to patch server.

    Been trying to get the launcher to work since 7:44 PM US Eastern. Its now 8:33 and still spitting this problem in my face.

    I'm experiencing many of the same issues as other people. My friend, however, has absolutely no issues loading maps or the website. He also was able to close out and re-launch the launcher with no problems. He's only about 70 miles away from me, so I don't know what it is.

    Having the same issue. Logged in, then logged out. Got the backend patch, and now I can't get on the launcher.

    i cant get my launcher to open either. waits for patching and then i get an error
