Please show me how (i really mean it, no sarcasm), i play 3 to 4 hours a day, mostly STFs and the quickies.
Twice a week I play the daily PvP, maybe twice.
I have 7 chars and I am pretty much sure I cannot get that kind of dilithium.
All you need to know: http://www.stowiki.org/Dilithium

    An effective routine:

    Eta Eridani: Traelus + Sh'mar + Defense = 1440 Dilithium Ore (about 20 minutes)
Breen Front: Rescue + Emancipation = 960 Dilithium Ore (about 5 minutes)
B'Tran Cluster: Explore + Chart = 2880 Dilithium Ore (about 20 - 30 minutes - could be much less with luck)
ESD / Academy: Investigate Officer Reports + History 102 = 1920 Dilithium Ore (about 5 minutes)

Result = 7200 Dilithium Ore (in about 50 - 60 minutes per character / per day)

The rest is easy to get with DOff assignements. Especially with the contraband mission, which in turn is totally easy to get with a Klingon character.

    Hope that helps.

There are Foundry missions where you take all 3 at one and simply go in and click 1 thing to complete it - it's not even 1 minute. I prefer the Distress Call Missions: defeat 2 ships and the mission is over.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

I already posted this once today, but ok:

4 VA each doing B'tran (1,440), Strange New World (1,440), and Officer's Daily (1,440). That's 17,280 Dilithium. Each VA also earns between 100 and 3,000 more Dilithium from DOFF Missions. It's not uncommon for me to have a 25,000 Dilithium day. The Officer's Daily takes a couple of minutes, then I Transwarp to GO and do B'tran. The 3 B'tran missions can take 15 to 30 minutes depending on what you get: scan 5 ships or gather 5 data take a few minutes, defeat 6 waves of ships longer. All totaled it takes me around 2 hours to do all 4 VA: 90 to 150 minutes per day.

Sucks when in this day and age the Federation President doesnt get a salary, since we've moved beyond acquiring wealth, and has to go out and work hard for his money since somehow money is still required in this day and age, lol.

So were you the Saratoga BO before being President, or thats your job now after your Presidential term? :P

Beside some really great and long story missions the Foundry provides, there are some short missions for the dailys available as well. Maybe you should ask some people outside the Transporter on ESD next time you are there. ;) Or Barclays daughter. :D

Cosmic is many things, but Fed Pres, nope.

He's mentioned already where he's from.

I always like the voice of this character, even though he was only in it for a split second...

Fed Pres was Clarence Boddicker. Same race I presume?

Yeah, the Fed President was an Efronsian - the same race of character who was a BOFF on the Saragota in TVH.

Yeah, if someone needs DOFF Packs then Lockbox Keys seem to be the way to get them much cheaper then buying them directly from the C-Store. :)

just a comment, and hopefully (and i know no dev will clarify this) anyone may tell me if my assumptions are correct or not.

The box, is not just a matter of luck.
Why? Simple, because sooner or later, we may all have the things we want.

How we control this? How we can prevent the population of earning the most priced object?

Easy, remember the 1 Year party with Q?
Remember how the Q game worked? By going to the fountain and "pray to Q?"

There was a "bag of items", with very cool items and some TRIBBLE on them.

That bag reseted every 45 minutes or so replenishing with objects.

I strongly believe here is the same scenario.

It just doesn't matter if you are lucky enough to get the Wells in this case, it has to be STOCK available for it.

Stock which will be replenished from time to time, or worse, will be replenished manually when needed, in the meantime, you will only get the crappy items.

I strongly believe this and I started to suspect this when they released the Gamma Quadrant DOFF Pack, a friend of mine got the bug ship by buying the pack in by connecting almost instantly after the server went up.

What is it you want from the boxes Levi? Are you wanting a ship or the gumph?

The question to ask all those who open a lock box, are you wanting the time ship or are you after something else?

If it's a ship, then welcome to Blackpool baby er Vegas.

Buy a lotto ticket instead or even better, go to wild cats and get a dance. More bang for your buck...
