there are currently Bop skins added throughout the tiers, only LC, and Commander haven't gotten anything yet.
Can anyone confirm this? I thought DStahl said that CapnLogan only had time to work on 12-13 ships throughout S4. I'm shocked that they would make so many BOPs at once... does this mean we'll get an alt skin for each KDF ship? I really don't think there would be more skins introduced for KDF over UFP. So somewhere the numbers must be wrong. I hope this is true though!
yes more and more people have quit the kdf because cryptic hasn't said what they plan on doing with it. They say we don't have the population for content so they don't try.
i have even started playing fed characters because I don't think cryptic is going to give the kdf enough to do in the future.
It is disappointing.

Yes, i don't recall the name of the Lt. Commander one but the new Lt skin (and in turn Tier 5 skin) is the D'Gavama. Some people are having issues changing the skin, but i've not, i've had errors pop up but the skin still remains.

Sorry, but if that were indeed the case, I doubt the KDF woould have gotten the O'Nos First City upgrade (and FYI there are 5 'get acquinted with the city layout and NPCs' mission 'storylines - so in that respect is is on Par with the FED ESD (and on Red_Shirt's 'comparioson post, there would have to be 5 missions added to the KDF mission list.)
Again I understand the overall dissapointment; but I don't get why some give no credit for anything; or (even after seeing something like the new Q'Nos First City); the response is "they've stopped tryting".
Like Stahl said. If folks are unhappy with the game, you do have a recourse. A way to make your voice heard. Quit playing. Quit giving them money.
Did he actually say that? Did the top man in charge actually tell players to quit if they didn't like the work his team was doing? I definitely need citation there, since that doesn't sound like anything I've ever read from him.
They have a small team and they are busting their collective asses to make good on the KDF side.
Bottom line is, they could do better. They could do a lot better. With their current team and current resources.
Anyways, please hook me up with that citation showing dstahl telling people to quit. That I have to read to believe.

I do recall him posting this as well, though it was some time ago. Possibly pre Season 3.

because I see the feds get two BO's today in the cryptic store. Because I see every other week something extra for the feds and none for the kdf. i see excuses that don't jive with what I feel the truth is and am frustrated.

thats the question though: why is it important what the feds are getting, if the KDF are getting stuff themselves?
Are we talking about parity here, or just a fair share (which I honestly think they're starting to get, however slowly).
Because they could do better by the KDF. They really could do better.
of course they can, but that doesn't mean they aren't trying, does it? they're giving us plenty of good stuff already; sure, they can do more, but that's exactly what i think they're starting to do.

everytime the federation gets something and the kdf doesn't, it is a wasted opportunity. Cryptic is missing the pitch.
But every other week, it seems cryptic doesn't even want to show up to the game.
It may NOT be that. It may be something else but cryptic hasn't said anything so I don't know what to think.

honeslly, i think thats a bit OTT, but i do understand where you're coming from. i guess i'm just choosing to be a little more optimistic.
the feds will always get more than the kdf; i'd just like to think that they're trying to make the kdf fun to play in their own way.

As pretty as a new starting city is ... I'm not all that convinced they're giving us content in Season 4. I don't count the Gorn revamp because that's 8 months overdue.
I want new content. And I'll keep asking for ... new content.
It's just feedback. No big deal really. It's not something they're really planning on doing. But I won't allow myself to be distracted by fluff. That's all.

Why don't you think they're planning on giving us new content?
also, why don't you count the Gorn revamp? Yes, it may be late, but we're still getting it. Resources were put aside to create it. It's in the game. Yes, I know it's annoying that it took a while, but we still got it at the end of the day. I mean, do you not want it anymore?
Why don't you think they're planning on giving us new content?
because they haven't told us 'the plan'. They haven't told us their intentions. They have said "we know" and "we will do something at some point".
If someone told them that about something they had a vested interest in, i am sure they would like more info.
The assumption that have: there is no plan. If that is the case, tell us so we won't spend time on a faction that won't be fixed.
Why don't you think they're planning on giving us new content?
Their primary plan for new content is Featured Episodes, revamped STFs that are faction neutral, and queues for Fleet Actions. There isn't enough population on the KDF side to do fleet actions properly. The rest of their content is faction neutral.
There's no plan to make any new content for the KDF. Currently.

No, this one is adjusting the level of the current KDF only missions so the gap between each is similar. So instead of having anywhere from 2 to 10 grades between missions being unlocked, they will all have about the same number of grades between them. In other words, we will no longer have 2 to 3 missions unlock at the same time then having to wait another 10 grades (1 full rank) for the next 1-2 missions to unlock. Thus, with 25 missions over 50 grades, we'd only have to grind for 2 grades to unlock the next one instead of grinding an entire rank to get to the next new mission.

doesn't say anything. "relevelling kdf content" just seem to be anything more than more that more experience per mission.

That was my understanding of it. If I remember correctly, they are planning to roll the Featured Episodes into the Klingon progression path. Sorry, I don't have the link to where Dstahl suggested that.
One of he the things that bothers me is that the last batch of new content Klingons got was the Way of the Warrior and Sorties in Pi Canis. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed those and was glad to get them. It was a Klingon version of a patrol mission (kind of). But compare it to what was done for the Federation recently with the remastered P'Jem and Doomsday mission. That is the quality of content I'd like to see the Klingons get. It was unfortunate that the Devs did not choose to roll out some version of Doomsday at least for the Klingons given that it seemed like a mission that could translate so easily to the KDF.
I read that all sectors will be open to the KDF when S4 hits holodeck.
I wonderif this means we'll be getting KDF patrol missions for these sectors, or will they just be blank space for us?
My understanding is that there isn't anything there at launch for Season 4. I think they were opened for two reasons. One, this will allow Klingons to get to the location of the next series of Featured Episodes (they've been talking about DS9) and potential locations for the Borg Invasion occurring over Season 4, and two, it'll allow them to redo some Federation missions from the Klingon perspective at some point in the future.
There is also the possibility of the Fleet Action that Dstahl mentioned months and months ago (I think in an Ask Cryptic) of a Klingon Fleet Action to destroy ESD. They haven't said much about that recently, so I don't know if that is still in the works.

I flew around fed space in my carrier. i would like to point out, they are very forgiving. I can trade with runabouts and everything.
There is nothing to do at the moment.

I thought I remembered dstahl saying it too, but couldn't find exactly that quote.
However, thanks to Peregrine_Falcon'sHistory of the Empire thread I did find the post where The Big D told us he was tired of our complaining, and to either jump ship or shut up and eat our Cheerios.
...So yeah - I get a little tired of the "are we there yet" comments when clearly we aren't... ...we're on the right road and we're cruising along at top speed.
If you don't like the speed at which the car is moving - your options are to jump out or watch the DVD in the back seat and eat some cheerios.

trying to do a mission solo while 20 sci's in cruisers are trying to prevent you isn't fun?
