I have to say, I'm happy for the PvP crowd. I won't begrudge someone getting the limelight, even if I don't get what I want. I hope these new missions revitalize the PvP scene and bring new players over to the KDF.

That said, I was really hoping for more PvE missions. Oh well. Activating 'Moar Waiting' mode in 3, 2, 1...

trying to do a mission solo while 20 sci's in cruisers are trying to prevent you isn't fun?

Not for me. I get not enjoyment from pvp.

I can understand your disappointment if you don't like pvp. I really can. It wasn't always my thing either.

But realize this is content that breathes new life into social game-play. Such engagement encourages grouping, either with fleet or friend, or the stranger next to you in that bird of prey.

While pure pve would be nice, this gives us a pve/pvp mission which not only adds another notch to our gameplay, but also makes the Klingon faction that little bit more attractive to non-klingons.

I am not going to complain about this, it is an excellent thing. It gives us random encounters with Federation players, something many of us have wanted for a long time.

It is better know that they have said that it will not be every sector. But I hope they plan to fix the Decloak bug before releasing this. It going to mean easy death if every time your Bo speaks to you get decloaked.

I think FvK pve missions is a nice idea though I'd prefer some sort of conquerable zone, that had tiering for all levels to join in the fun but this is a start finally at least. What the KDF really needs though is more storyline missions at least 3/4 per rank, and spread out a bit. More freighter raid type missions as well.

With new ground coming a few missions to steal something from a starbase or board a ship and capture an important feddie would be good.

Need a wide variety of repeatable pve missions giving more xp than fed patrols to make up for the big gaps in story missions KDF would have even with like 3x the number of story missions currently in. Even without extra story missions it's needed for things to just be less of a grind. I've got on KDF atm and I there's not much point in making another atm to me.

No the First city quest are currently in In Design Discussions. So They will not be there when season 4 hits. They might be there before season 5 hits.

I think it is a great time to roll a Klingon in Season 4. The new Qo'noS gives a solid new starting location and bump to the KDF faction through small neighborhood missions. We are releveling Klingon access to episodes so that there is a clearer path through the episodes that are there. New ground combat is awesome and makes PVP fun (I know my Gorn is enjoying it).

There are new events coming in Season 4. New types of Ground Fleet Actions. Updated End Game Loot and STF improvements. Better access to Fleet Actions via Queues. New Feature Episodes that will be playable by the KDF are incoming. Duty Officer system is on its way with KDF specific assignments. And KDF are getting new ship variants soon too in Season 4.

So yea... I think if someone asked me, "Should I roll a Klingon toon?" - I would say - wait until Season 4 launches!

Given the fact that my team is small and that we have to get the biggest bang for our buck with what we do make, I think I'm finding compelling ways to improve the KDF faction while continuing to provide content for everyone.

If you don't think there is enough fun to be had for players who want to roll a Klingon, then that is your opinion. But maybe you are just one opinion out of many potential Klingons. At the end of the day the statistics will show if it helped or not.

Its quite possible that some KDF players will never be happy until they get their own Klingon-centric game.

Poor Romulan fans are groaning right now...

Sounds like Stahl says those missions are in Season 4 at launch. I hope they are.:)

My Quote is straight from the engineer report from June. So unless there planning on pushing back season 4. I doubt they be part of it. I have a feeling the current build on tribble is the launch season 4. Those missions are not present. They may hit for the start, But i doubt it. Consider where they are in engineer report and not under development. Based on that last engineer reports. I would not expect to seem them till end of july possible august.

I think you are right. I think the launch features are on tribble. Sounds like they'd like to have the Doff system there within a few weeks, but will wait until it is ready. I get the feeling that Season 4 runs through the end of the year based on comments made by the Devs earlier this year. So, when it is all said and done, we may see a lot of Season 4 features, but not necessarily at launch.
