Easiest way to find out would be to ask a level 84 to go with you and try having them open it. I know that when I was asked by a 70 to open it I still had the quest to open it but couldn't do it with them in the party.

When I went for the 3-3 one(Takes about 15 minutes or so to get to Crystal Terror) the boss dropped 5 materials, but I was told by my squad leader that it usually only drops 2-3 per run. ^^

You either have to buy the last 3 or just forget about it. They added an option to trade your old frost mats at the martial artist npc. So you can trade your old frost mats for perfectly good trash. :P

Supposedly the bosses just drop actual equipment rarely now. I haven't seen it happen or seen screenshots of it yet though. And there's no pwdatabase entry for the new bosses.

There's 3 buttons to the right of the best performance button. The middle one should undo what best performance did. Part of the problem is when you leave best performance on and log off or dc or anything, your settings are stuck in best performance.

Yeah that might be what happened, we killed about 10+ I think when we did the boss. Also as for the jiaozi part, it might be different for others of course, I'm heavy armor so I barely took any damage, even when I was debuffed by the 8th boss. ^^

Maybe if you're altering your character in an illegal way sure, changing your skin color to the color of your face... What's someone gonna do? Since you appear to be a veno there's a special strategy you can use. 1. Summon Pet. 2. Send pet to attack one of the mobs. 3. Halt pet before it attacks, if it's an aggro mob your pet will die. 4. Actually, barb clearly had aggro, but we couldn't get bubble far enough to not be cancelled by the aoe. Then again his aoe might be just short of maximum bubble range but it's not exactly easy to measure the distance you are. ^^

Each person has to do the quest separately, so you have to collect full sets equal to the amount of members you have. A couple of the essences don't drop from the first boss either.
