If you really wanted to experiment, I would also suggest you taming a Astral Beetle (Hept-, Pent-, Quadr-), preferrably lvl 3. I'm not sure about the hearts, but I do know that if you copy and paste those symbols from its original source, sometimes PW will show it. I agree, beetles (Qinfu or beetle kings) are good overall tanks. A lot of venos stick with Golems because of their high phy. def and relatively high attack, but I stuck with Ruby (beetle king) because despite it's phys. def being a bit lower, the mag def. is much higher than the Golem, plus it's HP regen rate, attack speed…

I have the lvl 3 beetle as my pet too! And I completely understand how you feel :) Right now Ruby is at lvl 50 and I love how it can take on both mag and phy mobs at once. Plus, with it's higher HP regen and the tough skill, it's heaven sent. Glad to see other Venos with Beetle King pets :)
