Check the grapicscard-driver, that its not some original Windows driver, but its the driver from the producer of youre graphic-card.. that helped me ;)

Everything you do when you have logged in is stored at the PWI Server. that includes all items in inventory, your characters ect. As SerenityMare says, just remember to log in at the same server as you did before, and you should be fine.

Is it a regular shut-down, or does the whole computer just go black? Are you on a laptop? Sometimes the problem is overheating. If youre on a laptop, does the power-light turn off, when the pc shuts down? I'd look at the graphics-driver, try to update, if a update is avaiable from the producer

Remember, when ure copying just the game-folder, you dont get the information in youre registery. Theres a reason why the client needs to be run with extra administrator priveliges. If you then download on Max Speed, you got aprx a 8mbit DSL-line ;)

To mention it again, the download speed, doesnt depend on witch OperatingSystem you are using, but the bandwich (DSL-line) you got. If you got a 10mbit line, it will take the same amount of time (usually) if ure downloading with a OS on Win7 or WinXP ;)

The PWI-client with all patches, is over 4.5 gb, so it will take a while yes. This depends on youre DSL-line, so theres not any direct answer on how long it should take. You can use them to exchange items at the PW Boutique Agent. Theres alot you can exchange them for, so I recomend that you go and have a look. The Tokens also usually sell for aprx 13'000
