Have you tried using the Verify button on the launcher?

Ok, I tried posting this response once before, but the thread has apparently been split due to someone else having same problems....? Anyway :

Couple thoughts: Make sure you have a working set of DirectX drivers, try disabling any anti-spyware or anti-virus programs you may be running, and try disabling any firewalls you may have turned on.

This game doesn't have any massive requirements hardware wise, but others programs have been known to interfere from time to time.

    Hi!
I had a similar problem with my Client.
All files were Veryfied, but When I click "Start", the game crashes and I get a wierd errorcode, that cant be read.
    ErrorPWI.PNG

The reason for my problem, were that Windows had installed a bad graphics-driver.

I reinstalled the graphicsdriver manually through Device Manager, and then all things sorted out :)
I recomend that you try the same.. Download the graphics-driver from youre hard-ware provider, and install it manually..
This solution have worked on other computers, with similar problem.

Maybe it was just that I needed to restart my computer ._. last night it wouldn't even update, and right now it's updating.... I'll post again if it still screws up. It could have been my instant messenger intefering too, because I don't have it on right now and did last night

    @Arnrist

It'll be helpful to us if you tell us some of your computer's information.

    1) What is the make and model number of your computer?

    2) Please also tell us whether you are running a 32bit or 64bit version of Windows. You can find out in Windows by going here: Start > Control Panel > System & Maintenance > System. Then look under System > System Type. It will then display 32bit Operating System or 64bit Operating System. Include that info with the info we ask for below.

    3) To create a dxdiag log, go to Start, click on Run, then type in dxdiag and press Enter. Click on Save All Information as a text file (on your Desktop as an example.
If you are using Vista or 7, go to the Start Menu, click on the Search menu and type dxdiag.exe.

    4) Copy and paste the top half of your dxdiag into your forum post (that means 50% of the text). If you have Vista, please take out the (TM) (the trademark symbol) out of the text file, as the forums will cut it off and won't display the rest of the text.

If you have a 64bit system, please click on the 64bit Dxdiag/DirectX button to save the correct log file. This is important so that we can help you find the right software for your system.

We'll take a look at it, and offer our advice (our our super cool and helpful community might beat us to answering things for you).
Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

I have had that problem with many other games, I always solved it by checking my "Hardware Acceleration" and making sure it was turned all the way down.

Please see my earlier post, follow the directions and post the requested info!

That error message indicates a video driver or hardware issue.

Usually you would want hardware acceleration, otherwise you can get a bunch of other hardware errors or glitches.

Let us see your video chipset info so we can try and offer some advice on your system! b:victory
