Nobody crying bout aps sins with R9T3 dags. Nobody crying bout low refine sins(+7 tops). The problem is those +10-12 armor refines, NW gears and whatnots. Good cards that are leveled least some. Those kind of sins wont drop w/o stunlocks and debuffs. Likely need a purge. Problems arise when said sin avoids things which might endanger it 66% of the time.

yea pls explain me why to take down an endgame sin you have to outnumber him else you will just get rolled,
and even if you manage to outnumber him he will still potentially be able to take down half of your squad in complete safety
you didnt experience endgame sins did you?

deity ones reach 220 atk lvls, capable to land 27k on 50k p res, 120 def lvls and 700 spirit, while getting hit back 2-3k on their unpurgeable full buffs

No, sins and tidal make it a whole another thing. Archer, for example, you can stunlock genie and whatnots excluded, till veno gets their furry *** in to purge. Buffless endgame toon is nowhere remotely as difficult to deal with than one with them is. Sure, there are some maxed toons with lvl 80 S cards but then again sin with that gear would solo factions or close enough anyways.

Not only that on his server he is considered the best sin on the server.
He is not your average sin...

If you watched his old videos you would see him tanking a lot and killing a lot of people even before Elimination skill existed.

Any class with Maxed end gear + player Skills will be OP.

In my server there is a seeker cleric and a Psychic that they do the same they can tank a whole squad and wipe the squad solo since they are fully end gear.
2 of them is because they got skills and the seeker is because he cashed over 20,000$+ on his seeker.

rinc quit game months ago... the videos you saw were shortly after the NH expansion and he was alone at his gear/war avatar level. He wouldn't do nearly as well since others have had a chance to catch up.

Rinc has never been "alone" at his gear and level. There has always been a group of people at the same gear as him on Lost City.

The fact that he quit a while back and more people are getting closer to his range does not change the fact that sins as a class can do this even when people are at the same gear level. For more recent examples just watch Aftermathz or Pantene's videos. They put out the same type of overpowered displays.

In the videos you see him target specific people, those are normally the ones with the same gear and levels as him. They drop fast also.

But in all fairness, tidal doesn't mean immunity from statuses. After be ganged up on by veno's you learn this very quickly. Even tidal wont save you.

"ganged up on by veno's" is really part of the issue here.

Lets see, every other class takes 1 veno for a purge. Sins need a gang, and even when that gang finally succeeds they just hit a spirit of defense and are full buff again, because unlike other classes they aren't forced to use their pk pot cooldowns for a multitude of other situations. How do people not see an issue here?

Also, if you're going to argue that that purge doesn't mean much, get to end-game and see the difference full buff versus self buff makes.

Finally, that combo you mentioned may be able to do good damage, but its a one off, and oh wait, sins have a nice skill called deaden nerves on top of every other option if they all fail.

I made a thread ages ago how we shouldn't be worried about sins being amazing at oneshotting people, but rather being amazing at tanking and what they now mean logistically for combat.

A buffed sin feels tankier than a BM, can basically get a guarenteed kill every few seconds, has insane mobility and resists control skills the majority of the time. Unfortunately this means the sin NEEDS to be focused or you'll quickly see a squad wipe....but simply by focusing the sin, the entirety of the sin's team is now free to take potshots at you without any resistance. If you shoot the sin, the enemy TEAM gets free kills. If you shoot the team, the sin gets free kills.


The issue is that logistically speaking, a sin now holds the value of ~5 players, thus giving the community absolutely zero motivation to make anything else. I would dare say you could make a full 80 guild of sins and win a TW that way these days, which is absolutely absurd.

Add a couple vit barbs + ep's easily protected by your sin army, let's say 75 - 5 - 5 and 5 bm buffers on your sins squads... that would easily be.. let's say perfect? xD Make the bm's be sage and just buffers for extra facerolling enemies...

We're atm 2 huge factions around, one of them (mine lol) full of every classes, rather good geared and such... but only some hardcore sins... Against a sin-full faction with lots of them close (or offensively close at least) to endgame... Result? Rpvp is a MESS, there's no way we can kill those sins armies because they simply kill us 1 v 1 faster than we can, their dmg output is insane for the survavility they have

When it comes to TW it's a different story though, but still on pure ganking - fighting they easily wipe us unless we have our thoughtest DDs logged, and by that I mean complete endgame toons to counter semi-endgame sins...

On pvp it's go out, be targeted by sin, AD, leap, WoG, hit once of twice, die -> repeat

They need to do something with sins, and so far in 6 months time span nothing is gona happen, simply because nothing happened on PWCN already and it takes almost 6 months (at least last patch is taking forever) to reach us...

In response to the part in read. You just defined the very nature of an assassin in MMO's, however, you make it seem like sins are anywhere near the tankyness of a barb, BM, seeker, or even a mystic. I just simply don't think they are, nor do sins have anywhere near the AoE dmg/cc to make it the case. It is common practice to focus sins down, you would think, as a player, you would adapt to being focused down repeatedly. Not saying that this excuses certain pro's to playing a sin (Tidal is a blessing). But it's simple not as reliable as say a def lv buff, or a pdef/mdef buff. It's that unreliability as to why i don't think it's as much of a problem as people claim to me.

The community makes other things. Most of the ex-endgame sin's on DW have rolled Mystics, archers, and seekers. This is after NH mind you. IF there is no motivation to create anything else, how do you explain this?
