edit: A GM response on this would be nice. Cutting out the main trump card of a well balanced class without so much as a word of warning is just a kick in the balls.

Without cancel cast DBB or GS, Sage 5.0 DPS > Demon 5.0 DPS. Only way to try and argue against that is to talk about Sage BMs not being able to go 5.0 w/ g15 fists. However, several ppl across the servers have gotten two -.05 int mods so, its doable.
The other argument would be that cyclone heel takes too much time to cast and effectively reduces Sage DPS. Fair enough of course, but during their 5.0 burst, Sages will still have higher damage output for the same duration of time. Additionally unsparked the advantage will obviously go to the sage in terms of dps.

Sadly if this was a permanent change and i still played pwi i really would go sage, only had 1 more full delta for 3rd fairy lol. Sage highland proc would become my new best friend.
Also what level are you? there really is a huge upswing in the instance variation of instances at 40
I did get bored in the late 3x range, just went and soloed white tyrans challenge on hard mode season of macha. The fear of instant one shotting countered the dulls.

Low thirties, sadly there's no PvP and PvP is the main attraction for me in any 'MMO'. Though tbh i would not call this game an MMO at all though. It is at best an online PS2 game with cutting edge graphics and mechanics of 2 years ago, using a rather elaborate lobby (Town) to try and call itself an MMO. Really town is just a lobby to find ppl to go play with in the instances you repeat over and over.
My girlfriend and I started on Vindictus primarily for control practice, as TERA online which shold be released sometime in September employs the same kind of control style.
It is going to be an actual MMORPG, not a game like this. PvP will be skill based including dodging and defending with shields etc. Archers in the game will play like a TPS (Third Person Shooter) with a crossfire on their screen.
There are 2 Tanking classes, both of which have strong aggro skills but one of which wears LA and the other HA. The LA class is a "Evasive Tank" having tons of aggro skills keep bosses and mobs on them but not really being a 'tank. Instead they rely on dodging and character placement to avoid attacks.
There will be no tab targeting or playing one handed while drinking mountain dew (... or whatever you do with your free hand...). No evasion stat, just you yourself having to dodge archers arrows in pvp and use ur shield etc.

Yea since GM's are in Killjoy mode limit fists and claws to BM olny, they are the olny ones able to use the skills, plus like many have said with this glitching they should make it a BM thing that yous are able to skillfuly time your skills to reduce the cost of 2 sparks and time needed to channel some buffs this would make the BM class a skilled Pro class to master0

I find this thread kinda ironic people are complaining PWI actually FIXED a glitch.
I don't PVP outside of TW as I don't think pvp is much fun on this game... hence PVE server.
In PVE BM has to be top 2 in dps 2nd to sins only. Its very rare I find an archer can out dps me if I'm putting effort into dps. also HF.. possibly the most effect pve debuff?
TW is where nurf of the class starts to show.
I believe melee class in general have the short end of the stick, not just BM's. This is because of having to be in close range and melee damage (aside from a hf aoe spam, or arma) melee damage is terrible. You have to constantly spam IG just to have a chance to MAYBE kill someone.
Most r9 archer clock in over 20k attack + 30m range.. bm 15-16k and no range... Stunlock does a fat load of good in TW and odds vs and archer you will miss drake bash. I have never understood why range hits so much harder then melee... it makes absolutely no sense. If it was supposed to be a tradeoff for higher hp/defense they failed, even 20k+ hp BM get dropped in mere seconds.
Also to note, needing a target to use an aoe is broken in itself.. all they have to do is run and you cant cast an aoe. This is especially annoying when you're using IG time. Ya don't have to take my word for all of this. Go look at the kills/kill/death ratio on the leader boards.
I hear the argument.. why not make an archer for tw and just use bm for pve? why should I have to do that to enjoy tw? that alone screams character imbalance. I'm full g15 nirvana gear with mostly +10 gear and I can be picked off by a mediocre r8 in all of a few hits.. all for 72 bucks.
It's highly uninspiring being a melee class in a TW environment. I myself am rolling a seeker to see how that goes.. I don't have terribly high hopes lol.0 -

In PVE BM has to be top 2 in dps 2nd to sins only. Its very rare I find an archer can out dps me if I'm putting effort into dps. also HF.. possibly the most effect pve debuff?

No archers and barbs can both out DD bm's in pve a bm with deicides vs an archer with cubes or Peaces isnt even comperable, and barbs equaly geared and self buffed will out DD a non CCing bm by as much as 4-5% at equal gear. Plus both classes can go 4 item rank 9 for both def and attack level adds for better soloing than bm's
The mass pvp gimp on meles does suck though. Basicly what CC removal did was take our gimp in mass pvp and move it to 1v1 as well.Gifs are hard to make work here0
