I believe it's been said that a seeker gets the same hp/mp as a BM.

Nobody's made such a claim on the mystics as far as I've seen (may have missed it), but my guess would be the same as cleric/wiz/psy.

since dmg can knock assasin out of stealth mode and mystic can place aoe dmg trap plants anywhere and aoe's hit assasins even when they are in stealth mode..... b:pleased

It seems that mystics actually need a target to place trap-summons. Seekers, on the other hand, get a continuous AoE skill which allows them to move as well.

Most sins who pk will sneak up in stealth while you are doing something that occupies your attention like farming for plants and mats or doing a world quest.

You won't get a chance to summon your plant aoe trap since they would've already appeared and killed you.

The mana cost and the cooldown on those traps also mean you won't be able to spam it at all times even if you are paranoid, that and you risk aggroing mobs when you are trying to do something else, like pick mats from ground.

The only way to not be surprised by sins is to be able to see them, but judging by information in these threads there are no Earthguard abilities that allow them to see stealthed sins.

That said I do want to say one thing, a mystic can res him/her self right after death, so if a sin kills you then runs off you can pop up and attack him. This is speculation on my part but it seems valid from what I have seen of both classes (sin/mystic).

3 interesting things:
First I was about to log off (pw-cn) when I saw a bm/cleric pair (level 50ish) killing the 2 mob types up near Kings Feast so i decided to attack them lol.

They went down quite easily, I'm not sure if that was due to their gear or to the fact that I think they were botting but still what surprised me was that the bm went down faster than the cleric. I think that mystics will be quite versatile in pvp due to their range of debuffs, heals, and phys/mag damage.

And second I reached level 49 on my mystic today b:victory
Still though I wont be able to get the new skills until I get some help with the bosses starting with Khewy, Rattus Lord and then the other 3 bosses. So... any ideas on how to get boss help from people who I can't talk to? b:surrender If I get the quest done I will post a video of the 2 level 49 skills b:laugh.


Anyway the final thing is that I have discovered how to un-summon the summons anytime you want.

I'm not joking lol turning into a catshop un-summons your "pet-like" summons. It doesn't effect your trap summons although they only last 1 minute so that's fine.

Anyway that's my little update lol if anyone wants to join me I'm on the 月狂 server lol.

Could do what some people do on PWI.

Wait at the boss for hours until someone comes up and starts killing him, then send a random squad invite to them. No translation necessary.

You get the summon fusion at lv49, right? I wouldn't mind seeing that in action. XD

Sounds like a good way to get shanked again by the same sin.

Sins will go stealth the moment they kill you. You won't be able to attack them even if you do resurrect right away.

All you're doing there is letting the same guy kill you again, except this time you will be buffless and at 10% life/mana.

Bottom line is until there's a reliable way to see stealthed sins they will always get the jump on you. And in a pk situation when you are occupied with doing something else you will most likely die every time.

Actually, the mystic res buff starts you out with more HP/MP than the cleric's does. And it increases with level. That's not to say that it's an intelligent idea to immediately res after you get PKed, just wanted to state a fact.

Now for all the "QQ clerics are dead" people: But to balance it out, it reduces lost exp by a smaller amount, and costs significantly more MP (600 at level 1, where a cleric's res costs a mere 285).

reduce exp lost by 80% at lvl10, compare to cleric which is 90%. And cleric Sage/Demon is 100%. Mystic sage/demon not release yet.

Except that my computer can't type Chinese lol however I can copy/paste Chinese characters into the game if I know what to say lol, if I could just get the Chinese names of the bosses then I could just spam world chat with the boss names till i got a squad lol.
So how about you post the Chinese names for khewy + the other bosses so I can copy/paste it into the game lol

You can actually install the Chinese characters using your O/S disk. To type them you need to know their pronounciation, though.

Or you could just camp beside a boss and spam copy-paste 请帮助我 ("please help me"), or 请帮忙.

Then again, I'm not a native Chinese speaker, nor I'm too fluent. I guess mooey knows better.

Hi I trained a level seeker to 13 so far. From what I see they are like sword blademaster and can wear my amour and swords . So I am putting a sword build 5str 3dex and 2 vit. Judging by the info and consideration I didn t add magic but I am only 13 might need it later. So seeker is really just physical like BMs so magic is part of melee? If that's so how does the magic damage hit with a low magic base? Other then that I can't wait for pwi Chinese is hard work ;(

My understanding is it uses physical attack to decide how strong the elemental attacks are. Like an Archer or a Veno Pet. So more strength = more damage. o.o
