Out of all your suggestions I would go for the Debuffing only a few random buffs rather than all of them or Only getting rid of Magic/Phys Defense buffs instead of all of them.
The Community of Veno's gets tired of the nearly non stop barrage of threads QQ about us from people who don't have a clue about the class.
First it was Flesh ream, Then Bramble Hood, then back to flesh ream (I seem to recall YOU have that ability as well, why no QQ about the skill use on your class?), then on to the next bash Veno's flavor of the month.
Veno Purge is not the only purge, so why is he only crying about it's use by Veno's? Conclusion? He pissed off some Veno's and they have him on their KOS list. So now he rolls an ALT because he is too cowardly to bother posting with his main and tries to get a topic going against Venos, again most likely because he pissed off a bunch of Veno's and has made it on their KOS list.
Personally, I think he is a coward.

I have Beta tested more PVP oriented games than you have brain cells. I currently play in the HARSHEST PVP centric game there is in the MMO community. PVP in PWI is pancakes and cookies compared to that. So do I PVP? Yes, and have for far longer than you have been alive. Try again Cupcake. Your dumb is showing.
Mass PVP? you call 40 people MASS? ROFLMFAO, dude, that is not mass, that is just a small roaming gang. MASS is when 500-1200 people come together and the chance of loss is 100% (you lose everything you had on you. Not just ONE item, I mean EVERYTHING if your killed.) When you can say you have faced that type of risk in a PVP battle in PWI, then open your mouth, until then, shut up nub because your stupid is showing.

When you grow a clue and realize I actually MAY BE a Venomancer, and know all there is to know about the class, is 20+ levels higher than you and have played twice as long? I'm pretty sure I "grew a clue". At least I'm not ignorant unlike yourself to realize a move such as Purge is broken.0 -

4) Probably a stupid suggestion, but a chance to fail purge.

purge has a very short range. instead of spending so much time whining about getting purged why dont you think for a second and take your 5 seconds that they are in range to be attacked and kill the veno.
with a venos insanely low damage output try taking down a 20k+ HP barb solo while they are fully buffed. even without buffs your odds are slim. try taking down a wiz that has high magic and phys def when they can 1 shot pretty much anyone.
why dont you go level to 90-100 see how UNDERPOWERED venos are against EVERY other class instead of whining. just because you FAIL at your class doesnt mean that another class has a broken skill.
Venos get all the hate because they can kill the 75% of people who suck horribly at this game and have no equips. then you have the 23% of people who suck horribly but have good equips that whine when they occasionally die because they are complete idiots. then you have the 2% of people who actually understand how to play their class and laugh at a veno who gets close to them because they know venos cant do anything.0 -

I know my class. Both in and out of PVP.
Well.. ok I do admit that my PWI PVP experience is limited, but.. what I have done I do know based on my experience from multiple PVP based games, not just PWI. The tactics transfer over fairly well regardless of what game you play.
I know my skills, what they can and can't do. I know when to use them and when not to use them.
Some big assed barb comes charging me buffed to hell and back.. guess what. PURGE! He still out masses me with HP even after that, and to have 'any' chance at defeating him (which is still mighty slim), purge is my friend. Otherwise.. I'm just a scrawny little smear on the ground.
I'm ignorant because I think Purge is fine? Funny.. you know. If Purge was so broken as you say, it would have been QQ about a lot more and a lot sooner but what do we see? Not a lot of QQ about it. Must not be broken.

So, now it's Purge? Good grief... People finally realized that the Nix wasn't a big deal, so now it's Purge? You're kidding, right? You mentioned yourself its weaknesses. The small range, and the Fox requirement. Do you understand what that means to any AA Veno? They sure as hell can't use it on Archers, because it brings them right up in sniping range, and unless they heavily refine their P-Def ornaments, they're pretty much dead. LA, or HA Veno, taking on a Wizard, or Cleric? Also, a sitting duck. You have to run for 15+ Meters INTO their cast range just to cast it, getting hit with whatever spells they want to cast at you, which includes SLEEP. As for the Barb's HP Buffs? Whoopdedoo. I'm pretty sure that no barb is going to buff right before a fight, meaning the instant I purge, they can just hit me with their stun, and pop their buff right back up again. And I can't purge for another 30 seconds. And BMs? Sure. Go ahead and run into their faces. They'll just stunlock you for being stupid.
Let me guess, you're one of those fail players who only PvPs when you have buffs from every single class in the game, and cries and runs away when you lose them. No wonder you're so upset about Venos. You haven't grown the proper equipment to have the balls to actually take on anything that actually poses any difficulty. Go PK 3xs, you fail noob, and stop whining to use because you lack the mental faculties to understand basic concepts.0 -
