    I only spent 300k on this event. After getting 20 Pumpkin Head Pills and 10 Big Headed Kid Pills, I began to feel shafted. The +30% attack is nice, but it doesn't make up for the 300k that I spent. Throw in the temporary and randomly colored "pirate" outfit and it still doesn't really come close. b:surrender

    I realize that you guys needed a money sink, but I think there were better ways to go about it and ones that everyone could enjoy.

    Its called gambling for a reason people. You win or you lose. Dont QQ/complain when you gamble and lose. My faction keeps QQing, that they spend X amount of money and got pills/crappy pots. Dont expect to get a rare item each time you try... If everyone gets a free mount on the first try, whats the point of a "coin sink"? It is GAMBLING.     Would anyone with a Nightfall be so kind as to tell me it's level 11 speed, 10.0 like Midnight or is it higher like the Anni mount at 11.0? :3
    I'm trying to decide if I want to try and get one at all since I have another mount at 11.0m/s.

    Well mine is still only speed 9. I think its the same maxed as the Midnight. ^^ That's what I've heard people say so far.

    On the contrary, I do think it is possible for everyone to take part/enjoy the event. JJ packs are the same price of the "good ol' days" 1 gold...and no one complained back then that it was too expensive. Sure, lower leveled characters are at a bit of a disadvantage but I would argue that's true for ALL aspects of this game, and as we have seen JJ will come back in the future.

    Also, 300k is 3 packs. In 3 packs the overwhelming odds say you will probably get the halloween candy or pills or the common stuff. I don't know what people expect out of a coin sink but the entire point is to suck a large amount of coins out of the economy without reintroducing too much that enables people to make back what they lost.

    I don't mean to be harsh on you specifically, but people need to realise it's a gamble; gambles never guarantee success; and that this will most likely help the economy in the long run.

    And was it just me or did other people enjoy that exciting moment between clicking a box and finding out what you got? I guess I take pleasure in the little things in life b:surrender

    I'd like to add, in real life when you gamble; you get nothing but lint in your pockets. A casino does not give you your cash back you started with, they don't give you a lil money to show their appreciation of you choosing their casino to gamble in. They don't give you a consolation prize or a gift. Yep you walk away (if the house doesn't own your legs) with NOTHING!! Yep a big fat ZERO of NOTHING!!!

    At least when you gamble in this game, you get a consolation prize. Darn ya didn't hit the big one, here take something that might make your game play more enjoyable. I will agree that it would have been nice if they had made the NON MONUMENTAL items worth a bit more, but they didn't. They actually didn't have to even give an event. Or give us free stuff even if it is just for a short period of time.

    Everyone just try to enjoy the game. Its free!! Its fun! Imagine the cash shop don't exist and have a ball!

    While I understand all that, it would just be nice to spend 300k and get something I could actually use. Being a Venomancer, 30 Pills are completely and utterly useless to me. I honestly wouldn't mind saving the Pumpkin Pills for Halloween all that much, you know as a fun thing to do, if I could use them. That being said, I still believe that a Veno (or a Barb for that matter) getting nothing but pills equals a shafting up the butt Charizard.

    Of course, all anyone else is going to say is "stop QQ" since you all have the money to buy umpteen guardian scrolls from the CS and spend millions of coin to get whatever you want. Then sell what you didn't want and get everything that you spent back.

    me too, though i spent less. got the midnight (which i gave to my son, i love my white horse!), two weapons packs, candy, cakes, and pills i'll be sending alts who can use them. just wish i could have gotten the fancy feathers...would have traded the horse for that in a second!

    I think it just means 3* gear. Someone was kind enough to post a couple links earlier in this thread. Forgive me I forget who said it. But the drops from the boxes are on pwdatabase ^^

    I bought a pack last night and now it is well after 1am server time and I still can not open the pack. Please tell me I did not just waste 100k on a worthless box?

    If you cant open the box might be because of the update coming up (or could be that the box is bugged and you did wast 100k) idk. I got 3 box that came with (Candy) (Wings) and (Ground mount)

    So true. These packs are a worthless gold sink. Seems someone with PWI wasn't doing their job in making sure there was no glitch before making them public. Probably won't be fixed until next year, if EVER.

    Are these prizes permanent or are they going to have a time limited use?

    Well... the stuff in the weapon/armor/ornament packs certainly aren't worth the 100k to me unless I want to twink some new character with the 3*s they have (hinthint).


    Not much we can do though other than save the packs for when they are fixed.

    Afaik if they are the same packs that are on the database, then the contents are pretty ermmm useless 3* items, but your alts might enjoy them
