    Yeah the casino bit is exactly the comparison. I know people that have spent much time at a casino...win and lose yeah..but overall most folks if they REALLY paid attention to the cash value of it with win/loss percentage, will realize that they failed.


    First time I brought with me 40 dollars and went home with 850 by the end of the night after wins and losses. The following week I had the bug still and went back...brought 600 dollars with me, thinking maybe I come home with a 2000% return again which would = 12000! b:dirty. I spend the night win and lose...eventually getting 60 more dollars from the ATM because I ran outta money. Now when I go...I play to play, not with expectations and I never leave b:cry


    Here is an exerpt about statistics with a factor of 2 choices, flipping a coin.

    Suppose you ask a subject to guess, before it is flipped, whether a coin will land with heads or tails up. Assuming the coin is fair (has the same probability of heads and tails), the chance of guessing correctly is 50%, so you'd expect half the guesses to be correct and half to be wrong. So, if we ask the subject to guess heads or tails for each of 100 coin flips, we'd expect about 50 of the guesses to be correct. Suppose a new subject walks into the lab and manages to guess heads or tails correctly for 60 out of 100 tosses. The probability of 60 correct guesses out of 100 is about 2.8%, which means that if we do a large number of experiments flipping 100 coins, about every 35 experiments we can expect a score of 60 or better, purely due to chance.

    But suppose this subject continues to guess about 60 right out of a hundred, so that after ten runs of 100 tosses 1000 tosses in all, the subject has made 600 correct guesses. The probability of that happening purely by chance is less than one in seven billion,


    Hmmm...I derailed there a bit ROFL. but you get the idea. Chance is chance, I need to look up the formula about chance rather than guesses. hehe (I failed! XD )

    Basically what I am saying is that , the more you play does NOT increase your chances of a win statistically. But, then again..u cannot win if you don't play!!! It's many a lotteries drawing power. =)

    so a lv 70 gaining ornament would get lv 70 ornament , even if its ****.
    and you wouldnt get lv 20 equipement for everybody .

    What need do a lv 60 + have for the 500 hp/mp food? - level dependant would imply that YOU would get something you would have a use of.; and not some thing you will try to sell 10 times its prices to low levels.
    I look at all the trollers, and Pvpers.. and know they wouldnt have lasted 30sec on Camelot.

    Rules= Know your enemy (players and NPCs) gives you more chances to survive.

    ill thanks for this TRIAL gift but is a mere satisfaction out of an event...

    1. More money in game = more money that 1 gold will go for.

    2. Greed, and competition, will only make it stay that high, why would a greedy player want this guy to have more CS items if he is running around with 200+mil coins?

    If you don't like this event, then ignore it, nobody is forcing you to take part in it. Go about the game like this never happened, because Eatswithspoons already said why it could not be better because the dev's are working hard on the new expansion. At least they gave us something, who cares if you have to spend 100k, I for one love the 20 cakes that you get, since it does not effect a apoc, or normal pot, it helps me for grinding, aoeing, and tanking. Thank you PWI again for this event, it has made more people happy than the ones that are pissed, because 9/10 the ones that are upset are the only ones that will ever post.

    ZOMG I love Nightfall.... and it only took me a lot :P But I chose to do it all. And I'm happy with all of the loot I got from all of the boxes, from my Halloween Treats, to the Headless Horsemen stuff, and then... my Nightfall <3 Thanks soooo much pwi <3

    As for everyone complaining.... eatwithspoons has already stated in one of these threads that they cannot please everyone. This event is optional... so if you dont' wanna waste the coins, DONT, its that simple :P Those of us that would like to try are welcome.

    Not once have I see a GM or mod trying to disprove the coin sink theory. The reason: THEY WANT YOU TO USE COINS!!!! I know I've seen one of em say it in this thread too btw ^^

    For those asking why not special instances/mob drops/etc... Devs are busy with Rising Tide expansion and didn't want to push the release date back (as told by eatwithspoons). Perhaps more reading of GM/Mods/Devs words, less complaining. ^^

    it are no good rewards but we got pirate outfits and blessings imao we got an event that isnt pure cashshop and stil people are QQing
    so the rewards arent that great if coins are used atleast something is drained from the economy
    really to all you complainers you know its gambling dont expect great stuff
    im very happy with this event i really am 30 atack lvls more for a week free woot thats really really nice and that cool free outfit for a week thats also great
    devs you finaly made me happy after months

    and now last thing

    argh im a pirate wheres the rum??
    its impossible to always do the right thing we all make mistakes i am not different from that
    just try to be a good person

    I did not read your post, because it is, what every other person says, its complaints, that a gm, already discussed, and yet you tell me to read. You wanted someone to reply to you so I did, also thanks I only have to read one paragraph you type, and you type me a long wall of text, good job spending your time typing. Anyway Thanks PWI again for this awsome event.

    Not sure if you're asking a GM or who... but I'll try to help ya.

    the 2 boxes give you a chance for 2 different horses, and 2 different types of flying mount.

    Halloween Box-- Midnight, Nakir's Judgement, Israfel, and Wings of Daedalus.

    Trick or Treat-- Nightfall, Galactic Beetle for untamed, The Drill flying mount for humans, and Brilliant Plumes wings for elves.

    I didn't get any of the Halloween boxes this year, but I know the Trick or Treat ones also give Halloween Treats, Halloween candy boxes, common gems, and Headless Horsemans Amulet.
