    It's not the fact that people are wanting everything free. The thing is with holidays such as this halloween and christmas. The items that are in the gift boxes such as the treats should have been drops from mobs. I no it isn't hard to make where the mobs drop these items. Coming from playin guild wars for 4 yrs all their holiday festivity items have been free. They make where the mobs drop items for certain holidays. With the price of gold now a days people are just bosting cause it's getting very pricy to buy these gift boxes. Yes i do understand this how pwi makes their money and all from people buying gold with real money. For those that really afford spending real money, i do believe they can arrange for something to make it more even out. I'm not complaining about anything, all I know is some of the items inside these boxes could be made to be droped from mobs. Spending 100k and you get monkey pills and for a race that can't use them. I mean come on now those are a waste, nobody hardly even buys those pills, well not that i have seen neway.

    Whatever anyone says :] I do complain, it IS unfair.

    How can someone get 3 GOOD things on the first 10 boxes, and I with 120 just get candy and pills? Do you think its funny to spend all your money for nonusefull items? no, do you think the treats are worth something? no, how will people recover their money spent? selling gold. There you have it, straight.

    Im officially out of boxes events, thanks anyway, but really, it is a waste of time and money, make them drops if you want people to stop complaining like some few have mentioned before.

    This appears to be a genuine coin sink. I only hope that enogh people participate. Based on the odds this may be a good oppurtunity for people to get 3.2/6.2 fly mounts. Making it valuable for people without giving the advantage to cash shoppers. Hey maybe this will even be a token sink for people that just trade in tokens for scrolls.

    As for the people complaining about the scroll option, no one is going to use that option. The option is there to keep gold prices from going too low. But I seriously doubt that would ever become a factor.

    For people complaning about people complaining... Many of these events are essentially forced participation. Any event that increases inflation requires players to invest in that event in order to keep up with rising prices. There is no option to NOT participate in events like Spring Packs and Av. Packs unless you dont mind your net worth dropping. Thoes types of events increase the divide between rich and poor and are worthy of critisism. This event appears to have the potential to reverse some of the inflation or at least stall it for a week.

    OMG, They clearly state there is a CHANCE of getting those prizes. It is a gamble, and you know that going in. If you sank millions of coin hoping for some big payout, then perhaps you have a gambling problem.
    If you went to a casino and sank $10,000 into a machine and lost it all, while the person next to you put in $20 and won $100,000, would you complain to the casino and demand to be given a prize too just because you can flash around the amount of money you've spent (wasted) there?
    Its a game, get over it. If you don't want to lose millions upon millions, hey here's an idea : maybe you should control your compulsive gambling and hold onto your money. We know this is a coin sink event. What else do you expect?
    And as for the low lvl prizes....you know that's whats coming out of them, and yet you STILL continue to buy them. WTF?

    I spent 200K and got candy. Yay, it was fun, but know what? I wanna hold the rest of my coin for something else.

    It sounds like a cool event. It's a shame I can't participate in it since A- I have bills to pay and can't afford to spend money on a free game, if that even makes sense, and B- I don't have 100k coins to spend and won't until the event is long over.

    Although the "rewards" are iffy at best, I really do think that this might be a "coin sink" that many of the servers need.

    With Gold Prices, it would be much more expensive to get Dolls from the Boutique then it would be to just use 100k. INO, this would be the one advantage to the event if looking at the overall picture.

    The fashion = eh for the girls but I the guys finally got something good b:chuckle

    On another note the Attack +30 Blessing b:dirty...How can you not like that? It will be a weekend of GV's b:dirty

    People used to say nobody would ever use the 100K option. That was back when angels were 30K. Now you can find angels for around 100K, I sell mine for 99K, so either option will be used.

    The 100K option was originally used to keep angel prices from skyrocketing. Now it seems it's almost an acceptable alternative. You have this all backwards.

    If people are willing to sell scrolls for under 100k then the coin sink loses its purpose. But the option for scroll and the option for 100k are both their to control the price of gold even if their purpose is never realized as I suspect will be the case.

    At any rate the potential exists for gold to drop but I will be happy with a stall or slowing of inflation for 1 week if nothing else.

    sigh.. i'm sick of giving out money to this game for stupid events. Wether it be in game coin or real life cash.. we always have to give money to these events.
    I mean.. ****.. 100k.... for a chance at winning something that will most likely show up in the cash shop a couple weeks from now lol.. i mean come on. I know something from this event swill show up in the cash shop.. it always does. It would prolly be cheaper for me to not gamble and just wait till pw release them.

    When is perfect world going to make events like all the other games..
    you know.. those drop events that make everyone happy. I'm not happy, because this is a not a event. This is a event disguised as a coin sink.
    Cant you just give us something honest, instead of mopping up your own garbage.

    well people were like omgawd we need a coin sink, and they do this, and now people are like omgawdwtf a coin sink. what do you expect them to do?

    i think it's kind of fun for what it's worth, 100k isn't very expensive, and even if you get all candy i mean 500/500 heal is good for an alt up to lvl 50 i say, it'd be like accidentally buying 20 lvl 40 rejuv pots (which costs something like 100k anyway). i mean at least there's no omgwtf gear coming out of them.

    If you want to get a mount and be 100% sure of it.

    Save coin and buy it off another player.

    If you want a .05% chance to get a mount gamble on the boxes... But realize that you have a small chance to get it and it is not guarenteed.

    This Halloween Event is a BIG FARCE I wasted 100,000 and what did I get, something that looks like a cake, gives me 500 mp and 500 hp for 20 times.
    I'm a Veno, and to me this is garbage. It's something I have no use for.

    If we're going to spend 100,000 then I think we should get something good, like one of the rides and not just this garbage I got.

    This is the reason I quit playing the game last year, one one of the events, all I got was garbage.

    It is becasue I"m only lvl 16

    So what ur saying is you can't grind for coins like the rest of us? You can't farm things and sell them either? I had over 8 mil by the time I was lvl 20. I farmed and farmed and farmed leather, and dull claws and hay. Its not about you have bills in real life. Spend your time on here wisely, less QQ in the forums and more pew pew in the game.

    I spent like 8 million on anniversary packs, I got NOTHING. I also spent about 20.00 of real money on them.. still got nothing.

    I spent 3 million coins in game and got a nightfall. My husband (rl) spent 11 mil in game and got NOTHING! Oh yeah, he wasn't happy with me!!! But its totally random who gets what.. thats why its called.. a gamble (not directed at you)!

    I don't forsee either of them being in the cash shop. I think they may have learned their lesson with the silvermane/violet lightning that people are really miffed about that.

    I turned down 25 mil for my nightfall. Its only one of 2 mounts you can ride at lvl 10. With assassin and psychic coming out, I don't plan to walk everywhere. However; if I was offered enough I'd sell it. If not.. I don't care.. I'm not pushed to sell and dont' mind keeping it!

    like last JJ event (not for HW cuz i werent here a year ago) ill refuse to spend my coin (not even thinking of GS) on this SILLY event.

    i personally WONT get a single box for the reason ill explain:

    1. 100K IS NOT CHEAP;
    some1 said that his lvl 20 char could afford it (b:shutupcmon)...yeah he can get 1 pack and then find him broke for the rest of the low level, and with that pack what will he gets ? basically low hp/mp potion or pill that NO1 is gonna buy from you.

    2. the chance to get an item that worth the SAME (100k) or more is just NOT POSSIBLE unless u get tons of this boxes

    3. from 2nd point u can get that this event is suited just for the ppl that can afford spending TONS of K of money just cuz they MIGHT get a mount (that will be soon on CS anyway )

    the comparison with a SLOT MACHINE is the nearest thing i can think of, but the fking slot machines at least give good money somehow (if u win), with this fake event u wont have the chances to get good things but ull be (NOT ME 4 SURE) blinded by the chance of getting something(CRAPPY IMHO).




    im not PRO-ANNI PACK (not at all b:angry) but at least, there, u SURE can get:

    (BASED ON A 400K per GOLDb:surrender) >15token (which can be sold and make money back a lil)

    so this means that paying 4 times the JJ event u GET for sure something that is worth more than getting 4JJ boxes.

    and this just talking of the LOWEST reward u can have...(anni pack biggest reward is still OP but really low chance) but we are talking of getting something out of the normal since is an EVENT.

    at least with anni packs some1 has make good out of it (GREEDY DEVS and mad Cash Shoppers ),

    basically with anni pack u could at least get something (see PW agent exchange) even if u got unlucky (15tokens) but with JJ u havent the chances of getting back what u WAISTED


    so WHAT IS THE POINT OF MAKING AN EVENT THAT ISNT WORTH FOR PLAYERS?

    and regarding COIN SINK...why the hell would i waiste my coin to get nothing in exchange when i could use those money to LOWER THE GOLD prices ?

    You seem intent to jump on anyone who responds to you, so I'll only speak about one thing:

    When you "waste" your money on the boxes, that money is taken out of the economy. Less money in the economy means less money that can be used to pay for high priced gold.

    how many player u made be4 knowing that farming for money at lvl 20
    how many hours u spent on this farming time (8mil out of mats is huge earn)
    how many players buy DQ items

    every1 can make 100k (and even here u have to look at class cuz is WAAAAAY DIFFERENT the profit of a barb in respect of a veno 1) but at lvl 20 u have to worry on SOME MORE THINGS

    I'll be your "huckleberry"! Your thoughts that you should use the coins to lower gold prices is absurd. Buying gold through the a/h is exactly what RAISES gold prices. Oh..maybe you don't understand the term coin sink? This event will pull a lot of in game coins OUT of the servers. Meaning that less people will have lots of money to BUY gold..etc. Therefore LOWERING the price of gold! Why buy gold just to use it to spend the same amount as you'd be spending to buy the packs? Either way the price is the same.

    Complaining for the sake of complaining is mute. Add something constructive. Tell what you think would make the event better, rather than just complaining because you don't like it. Either way you got free fash for 9 days and a free bless box. There are your FREE things, but they aren't gonna force you to take those either.

    EDIT: By nothing from the anni packs I meant none of the good stuff.. all I got was tokens. And no need getting all grouchy and insulting.

    As far as the money is concerned, if you actually talk to people; notice what is around you in the game you can know what to do to earn money. I'm guessing you are one of those loner people who never talked to other or noticed the HUGE amount of cat shops in archosaur and what was in them that was selling? If you just take a look around you will notice what sells and what sells well. I have 5 characters .. A lvl 13 a lvl 46, a lvl 68, a lvl 74 and a lvl 81. I've been in the game awhile, I enjoy it. I realize its FREE TO PLAY no matter how many ppl complain!
