Wow......never thought I'd see the day when this came, but yeah. I guess the only complaint/question I have is..........why the name Tideswell? I mean the other names I'm familiar with, but not that one (and it sounds kind of silly).

yes its pretty weird i have to say that they change a servers location from east to eu just like that without giving any chance to disagree.
When this comes i think alot of harshlands people will quit and i will not miss them one bit lol.
The only thing that would be a shame is that the ping will actually be bad for pvp but other then that... suck it up harshlands gogo tw at 2am hope you get up to attend when you gotta work at 6 ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)​​

Yalls(the pwi collective) Conversion are horrible. Why do yall(again the collective) keep going forward in time? TWs wont be at 2am for us, theyll be at 2pm for the evening and 8am for the afternoon. Seriously, learn your conversions guys.

Just as a spot of advice the GMs speak better french than german so it's better to post on the french one than the german one. Note you can message in English and they will add a post onto there in English.

Was hoping would merge with Dreamweaver but cannot have everything (while I am English, when I joined this game there was no EU server), that way would be able to have mates from both servers together.

Concerning the merging regarding time zones, it was never going to be pretty and really any american of Harshlands should be entitled to transport their account to another server (granted this would be an expensive procedure, take a long time and higher chance of data being lost and the possibility of ending up on the wrong server anyways. However if you enabled any Eu player that joined the american servers before hand to also move the the new EU it would help stabilize the population of the players. The possibility of any of this is zilch. Just like female barbs is zilch (a girl can dream).

For stabilising they had to have at least one server merge with Morai to stop overcrowding of anther server that already was merged with 2 of the older servers.

And one last though while I type this. Wasn't Etherblade a name for a server before ???? And Welcome to all new players to the EU server and hope you enjoy it here (you never know if enough have an issue with this merge you could argue it with the gms if you get enough people).

This is stupid I'd rather you not merge harshlands at all if you're changing the time zone and making it pve. I chose harshlands in 2009 because it was in the correct timezone. Don't just take my server and move it to Europe and make the game unplayable.

TW at 8am and 2pm server time is kinda fine on a weekend.

BUT TRW-2pm? We all would be at work then, does this mean that people from Harshlands do not get to do TRW and hence we will not have Inkdragon blood?

We cannot do Friday NW, we cannot do tigers or thursday tournament.
This is a HUGE HIT on Harshlands...

You can always let your toon in pk mode and pvp with others that are in the same mode like you.
I dont want to be forced to pk when I do my primal dailies for exemple. Dont want to be 1 shot by r9 players and lose items that are not bound or to be forced to buy guardian scrolls.
On a pvp server you cannot chose when to pvp or not unless you spend all time in safe zone and not questing.
On a pve server you can chose when to be blue name or white name.

I presume it was what was translated at the time - a conflation of archos (chief as in main city) and saur (reptile/dragon)

My guess is that it will be at west server timezones, only because that's the area PWI operate from, and 2 of the new servers are in the west timezone. Doesn't really matter that much though, I think EU will be screwed out of it no matter which way it went, and along with them all the Harshlands expats :S
I guess Harshlands has the biggest right to be outraged with this merge, it's so unfair to them.

* If I create 16 characters on Sanctuary and Lost City Server, the login screen will be able to handle 16 characters? (I doubt that). Or will I have to delete some characters to have access to the last ones on the list? (most likely).

* If the login screen can seriously handle 16 characters, everyone would create 8 more characters on other server now. You would get more space for storage and more rewards for future login events.

Beware people of Dreamweaver, you will be thrown in middle of raging trolls. Be careful about the one sitting in the corner for it ish a vicious one. Prepare for all that super-boring drama RT has been well-known for. And ofc, you'll have lots of BLing to do if you hate Kitty (Kitty has lots of Kitty-haters so they'll probably welcome you warmly to their club).

Kitty has a guess that Tideswell will be the name for the oncoming underwater city and thus the merger will be named so.

Ofc Kitty had her usual misfortune and there's already another "Kittysama" on DW so Kitty will get RT-suffix to her main's name
At least Kitty already has "KittysamaRT" as her Youtube-channel so it's not that bad, really.

Seems like merged servers will come online on 5th August, so Kitty can have a big birthday party with lots of new people as it's also Kitty's birthday!​​

So it mentions that if you have characters on both servers but same account you can access both lists of characters I'm curious as to how account stashes will work with having both sets of lists on one account?

I am simply amazed by the logic going on here. Morai and Harshlands? If I were a person from HL server, I would be highly pissed. First of all, thinking of TW. The time slots for people change drastically, means the big TW faction coming from HL server will most likely lose it's power due to people not being able to attend. Yes, many might say "it's weekend it's alright" but in the end it is not, because people have jobs and other responsibilities.

Moreover, season lasting 12 weeks? Right now we are on around 8th week of TW, map is dominated by many small and bigger TW factions, no important hard fights have taken place yet. No major money will be made from TW, no overall winning factions. I see it more of an alliance and gank time upcoming than actual skill and tactics in this area. For me personally, TW has been huge part of the game, so this is sounding rather dissapointing.

Maybe it will bring more players into the servers, but right now Morai has not been empty. We had huge player reload after new classes have appeared, because the Russian communities moved here.

One thing I see not being a problem is language in the servers, because majority of Morai players do speak english very well, others english skills are bearable. But remember, that it's not everyone. There are factions (even strong ones) whose base is people speaking for example german.

And as I think, HL is pvp server? Not interested in what people want to say when they join a server being pvp and east coast?

How do you think players will adjust? Are you going to react to any of the problems regarding this situation?

Lothranis its a server for french yes but the english ppl in on this server since long time and people is English has become accustomed since even has English only guild

And guild french or guilde mix english/french with language in faction its only english

This was originally 2 servers that one was french the other way german, during that time people used to normally use english in wc. There are various guilds on Morai that are not english and sometimes they wc for more members when they form a squad hence french fsps had at least 3.

Some people use other languages like russian and due to the nature of the server having players that are german and french... theses players have the french and german clients.... theses clients rename every single last mob and boss so you have COMPLETELY no idea what so ever what they want you to do for them unless they show you where it is or you use pwi database which means you need to faff on with a browser while you play.

And concerning drama I have seen russian and french drama on wc not often but I have seen it.

There was also a time I was unable to use the USA facebook and could only access the french / german one for some reason.

Also if you note the posts are about different things there, sometimes events hosted on the french/german that are only for the morai server.

- I do not judge, I play on this server.
