sorry but we re getting pve sets since 2 modules while pvp players get nothing
also you guys miss the point pvp players use the set to compete in pvp not to fight some braindead NPCs
indeed gear difference causes major imbalances when 2 players are fighting.
offer pre farming leads to a better balance much sooner.
In pve as long as the dungeon is playable we are all happy

PVP gear sets (other then maybe the TR one) has always been substandard to pve sets for PVE purposes (sometimes by a little, sometimes by a wide margin)
If you do not pvp, why do you care?
Secondly, don't fool yourself, sure alot of our average joes will take awhile to gear up, but there will be people with the 4 new artifact gear, new artifact slot and whatever new pve gear best will be within 72 hours of Mod 6. All at mythic level.
I'm beginning to think that PVErs in general have far too much free time to just sit around and think of things to whine and complain about. Easily a third to half of the forum threads have some PVEr mentioning that there should be some grandiose distinction between PVE & PVP abilities, gear, and so on...So why do you (joe PVE player) care about how quickly the PVP playerbase gears up?
pvp players can get new gear soon lvl 70while rest of us will need to grind i dont think this is fair new pvp set should need new curency like pve set
I think pvp people just grinded their gear before head. No one stopped you from doing so. Some of us did grind. Some like me are still in process.
Also pve gear still is a grind. And you can get part of it at day one too. Like buy for linus. Also requires some work to be done before.

Yeah never seen any pvp guilds in pvp gear running dungeons , that is totally and completely unheard of , the very idea of pvp players taking advantage of being kitted out in full lvl 135 gear sets and being able to farm new pve content and sell said drops for huge profit weeks before pve only players can hope farm everything necessary to get their gear is just pure fantasy , lol seriously.
If pvp gear couldn't be used in pve content then it would not be a big deal as it is though having access to a full for all intents and purposes BiS set weeks before pve only players puts pvp players who pre farmed glory and seals at a massive advantage , and lets not pretend that pvp players would not take advantage of it either by farming dungeons , pve gear cannot be pre farmed due to the addition of a new currency so why should pvp gear be , and that's without taking into account that I think it is safe to say the developers will almost certainly not want people being able to buy full lvl 70 BiS gear sets on day one of the module they were introduced in .
pve players just seem to make false speculations in order to obatin pve sets faster.
So you honestly and truthfully believe that the developers ever intended for it to be possible for people to purchase full sets of lvl 70 pvp gear within 10 minutes or less of the new module launching? you actually really believe that they are ok with that idea?
Or do you actually believe that in all likelihood due to the upheaval at their workplace they have probably overlooked adding a new currency to pvp in order to prevent people being able to pre farm pvp sets on day one of module 6 ?
lol if u only play PvE,
theres no reason why u should care about pvp stuffs lol,
do not talk about fairness, this just make me angry!
there alot of bad stuff on the PVE side going,

where is the huge profit? everything is bound and if its not you will have no prob to gear in 2 days right?
tldr there will be no new currencies because there will be no new dailies

PVP Players cannot actually farm enough Glory to buy a full set when Module 6 drops.
Glory is capped at 50,000 Glory, which means at most someone could buy 2 pieces by farming ahead of time. (24k for Body, 14~19k for other pieces).
They can farm gauntelgrym coins that they can then use to buy the Token of glory from the trade of blades , so you will have people being able to buy full lvl 70 almost bis less than 10 minutes after module 6 goes live if this isn't dealt with
or get rid of the seals of the protector and make it so the new pve sets can be bought with seals of the drake or unicorn so we can all pre farm our lvl 70 sets for day one ....
Pvpers haven't got new maps, modes, proper balance or a proper ladder. I think people are blowing it out of proportion. Personally I'm considering of getting the pvp set as a pve'er.
How does that connect to my quoted post?
My intention behind this post was just to mock teribad a bit for talking so negatively about PVE'ers in general.
But yeah, getting a PVP set is definitely a viable option for us PVE'ers as well. Glad it's introduced into the game.

Or you can farm the same gauntelgrym coins you are talking about. Its pve after all

totaly agree both sets should use new curancy and both should have to be farmed as to the people that say pvp players only run in pvp this is wrong we all have seen pvp gear on toons running pve content how times i have seen pvp geared toons running tiamt and all other pve content
pvp players need to admit they do run pve content in pvp gear

but in mod 5 pve plaers have there curency capped at 500 seals we all lost thousands of seals with this and even if we could buy with drake seals we would only be able to buy 2-3 pieces also but we cant because they are bought with new curancy
the ****ing module didnt even released yet and people are already in a hush to get it on day one... for ****s sake... chill people, chill...
Exactly. If someone farmes 50k glory AND tons of GG coins, isnt it the same if they do it PRE module or POST module? Isnt it the same if I farm rank 10s PRE module? Its a little silly to try and penalize players for pre-farming what they can. This happens EVERY module. Players sitting on piles of keys waiting for the new lockbox - should they have those keys locked to the old lockboxes only?
I mean they are still having to play the game. Some people are pre-emptively saving up, I see it NO different than saving up GMOPs or even raw AD to use once module hits....
I mean is AKIN to saying "we need a new currency because some people are saving all their AD and when the module drops they will buy rank 12s and Trasncendants" Thats the nature of MMOs. Releasing a new currency does what exactly?
All you will end up doing is making it HARDER for the casual/new person to catch up and existing players just find it annoying. They did this with seals - when new gear was released and guess what, all the players who were glory capped. got the gear with little work anyways and now you created a new barrier for new players.
If anything, what they SHOULD do is double the cost per piece, increase the glory cap to 100k upon launch, and double the glory rewards for lvl 70 pvp.
Now the glory we have now, will go MUCH LESS of a way to 70 gear. DONE. BUt adding new currency is just dumb - dont we have enough of that already?
I guess ontop of all of that, you could ALSO have players who have stockpiled RP and have enough RP for all the new MH/OH equipment the day they turn lvl 70 and get the green item.
Should we add new RP requirements then too and make all the old RP obsolete?
I think the key is to increase the requirements but GIVE increased rewards, nullifying or diminishing advantages of players today without making it harder for new players in the future.
Also they could consider making the PVP Seal Quests a 12 hour CD, and increasing the costs of seals per piece. Allowing players to get up to 4 seals per day now. Or even an 8 hour quest.

Clearly option A
Its not that, we are going to have powers with 4 points and double weapon damagr. 40k hp more are needed from day 1 to avoid disasters
Yeah, we PVE-players sure are second-classe people, I completely agree there.
I don't. At all.
