I will bet you this is what it is: You have another effect going on that supersedes it. You can only have one of the area special fx active at a time. If you have any other skyfade or outdoor environmental effect on it generally can'y do both. I feel like there you used to be a budget to 2 or 3 at a time, but now it seems…
My favorite D&D monster was always the wood woad. One time I had the party fight a woad that was being controlled by an evil sorceress through an enchanted fork that was stuck into its side. When the party found a removed it I announced "You take the fork in the woad." Other woad related puns: Woads are mainly melee…
I just reviewed your quest "The Three Dials." I gave it 5 stars. It's amazing. I loved the story and the villain. Here are my few criticisms. It seemed like in the first encounter with Pindrop that I killed him so the fact that he come back later seems odd. I liked the second interaction so I would just make it clearer…
I would give it 3 stars. The goblin cave was my favorite part. I think that if you are going to use this quest as an opening for a campaign you should try and make the story hook a little more intriguing. Just gathering some amulets we know nothing about isn't that interesting. I also think fighting drow out in a field is…
Updated my quest based on more feedback. Among the changes: the ghosts will now respawn from the center room and roam the halls after their initial defeat. Just like good Pacman ghosts should!
I just played Remnants of Mad Wizard and I have to say Wow! I love the dark mood you are able to set. I gave ti 5 stars and a tip. I think the only thing to improve would be to make the combat encounters themselves tie more into the main quest. they seemed kind of random and only tied loosely to the common theme of…
Hmm, interesting. My quest is more straight forward than most. It seems pretty standard to have a few maps of setup. I suppose I could edit out the exterior of the castle, but to me it seems like an important part of establishing the flow of the journey. Kind of like an establishing shot in a movie. I feel like it would be…
Thank you very much for the kind words Atiaxi. I will review your quest as soon as I get a chance, most likely tonight. Noketurnel, I hear what you are saying. I feel like the nature of the dungeon being a homage to a very simple arcade game makes it difficult to strike a balance between not enough detail and adding too…
Oh, I had a question. How did you make evrything turn black and white during the last wolf fight? Was that an ability of the monsters or an effect? I wanted to have flashbacks in a quest I am working on and havng everything go b&w would be perfect.
I just reviewed your quest. I gave it 5 stars. It was very fun. Good dialogue, good fights. I liked the balance of a serious plot with some comedy. The biggest critique I have is the typos and grammatical errors. I reccomend just playing through with an eye on reading all the text carefully and take notes. I think they are…
I just reviewed your quest. Very well done. Even some fun dialogue. I don't really have any criticism. Here is mine to review: The Pack Man by: Zefrimex Short Code: NW-DE76NJPYV Link to quest thread <If you do find the time to play and review, you can post in my thread here. Thanks!
I have reviewed your quest. I found it quite enjoyable. I love the mix of puzzle and combat. There were a few grammatical errors in the dialogue but nothing major. For the portal puzzle, I would suggest labeling the portals. Right now I think I am supposed to choose the correct portal based on its color but it is hard to…
Thanks for the feedback. That's a good point with looping the dialog. Also, I didn't think about the length. What is the required length to qualify for the daily foundry quests?
They should allow us to apply triggers to teleporters just like any other object so I can have them appear and disappear. And allow one-way teleporters. Also, it would make some things much easier to create as well if they build certain trigger properties right into objects, instead of having to use a trigger for all of…
I didn't see this in the list. They need to add an "AND" option for "component reached" in addition to an "OR" option for reaching dialogue prompts. Right now, I need both of these to be the opposite of the way they work by default.
I have to say, amazing job. Despite the fact that I had a miserable time getting through it because I chose to solo it with a level 26 CW (My own fault for not reading the warnings to not solo), I keep thinking back on how wonderful all the environments and what a good job you did creating boss fights with the tools…
