Personal empirical experience is now universally applicable for the sake of an argument. Today I learned. It's not like there can be 2 of the same class in a group or anything. It's not like a DC or CW can top a TR and that could be alarming for a TR who gives a **** to find out what he's doing wrong (or right). No. That…
Apparently, checking the results of your performance to evaluate your playstyle and improve is considered a male-only activity. Unless you want us to just mash without giving care. In that case, prepare for some long fights.
And of course, what kind of class criticism would that be without people spouting personal attacks towards you? It's not like we're suggesting to expand the established ideas, right? It's a bit more than a week since the game came out and people already grasped Cleric's mechanics like it was like this since the 90's and…
If I get the chance (and I see some other things), I might level a human Oppressor full Wisdom and Int with 14 Charisma (12 start +2 from leveling). I want to see if I can emphasize controlling with damage as a byproduct of it.
We literally cleared 3 dungeons with 2 clerics and 3 tricksters. Let the blueberries rationalise their spendings as much as they want: The day they fix astral shield stacking without fixing tanking people will cry blood.
No, it's also a PvE fix. The presence of a tank inside an instance becomes optional the moment you can just grab an extra cleric to stack astral shield. Not to mention taunt and threat doesn't work as they should.
This guide inspired me to roll a human cleric last week. After tweaking the build a bit and decided to roll Prophecy of Doom instead of healing word I can't wait to try things out!
You realize that you cannot fix "the average pug" with a spec, right? But let's say for the sake of the argument that you could. The question is: why? Unless you plan to attempt T2 and every new tier introduced with complete strangers every time. It's better to build your cleric properly right off the bat rather than…
What about the stats that we're rolling? I see lots of people roll for int and charisma bonuses which is cool. However, while you can get crit from items you don't get control bonus. Or am I missing something?
That and many other stuff which I wonder why in 2013 I have to do what I was doing back in 2005, like gather the group around, leave a party manually after PvP or skirmish, hot-seat drop-in for PvE and PvP etc. I have no idea what they are thinking.
