hi! i'm a returning player, haven't played NW for over a year. i've read the guide and now looking to respec my wizard to try the game again. but i'm a bit embarrassed about my powers. screenshots on the first page show only 3 levels of powers up to lvl60. in game i see 4 levels on all powers from lvl1. so how are powers…
I like Champion Mage much better than any T2 set. Just because of the boots, gloves and helm - all T2 sets have so ridiculously looking items. Especially the boots, sickeningly
*Confession bear* I actually prefer being solo wizard in the party. The rest can be any class provided they know what they're doing. Hate when other CWs mess with my formation/piling/pushing/singing/so on.
The issue here is perfectionism. While i feel that my Ability and Feat builds are good (i dont want to change any point there at the moment) - i simply cannot forget about the stupid initial roll. Why on Earth it even exists? It is such a HAMSTER mechanics, adds no value for the player at all (in fact, works the opposite…
Blah-blah. This game has A LOT of exploitable mechanics. Whether to use it or not - is the player's choice. Back then almost everyone chose the easy path and came to Delzoun. Now they are whining that GG PvP q is not letting them in? Pfff, as for me - whatever. It is their price for having over 50% DK chance.
Many guilds chose Delzoun side just because of the winning streak. Do you realise that? Whose fault is that - game designers? Any guild is free to join any side from the beginning - for free. Any player is free to join the guild with desirable allegiance - for free. Is that a game devs' mistake too?
that is correct untill nightmare wizardry enters the scenario. rene feat "nightmare wizardry" works perfect in cooperation with eots, giving desired dps numbers.
unlike all other posts, i'd say DC is useless for a geared group. there is no need for dc when you can replace him with a gwf and get tank+dps. i am sure most of people that run dungeons with their guild can agree with me on that. for ungeared pugs, both dc and gf are useful actually. but i'd vote for making a strong cw of…
If they are tanks, why do they hit so hard? imho, a highly tanky toon should not hit that hard. either you tank, or you smash faces. that is pretty much the situation with guardian fighters, and i like them in pvp much (even when these beasts are against me). as i see it, the problem with those sentinel regenerating…
i love sharandar for its vivid colors. it also has the most nasty mobs in this game - these little pesky goblins that dry my action points. but where is the poll "What is your most hated adventure zone?" i'd vote mount hotenow instantly :D same landscape on the entire location - i wouldn't be able to find my way without…
All i'm gonna say: just dps the boss. No aoe, ST and OF work for both control and damage. I usually slot IR (mastery), SS and RoE. Some choose to put RoE on mastery, in that case CS is better than IR.
Well good for you. Clever boy. But most players turn to theorycrafting AFTER they have tasted the game and seen the options. Moreover, there are different builds possible within one class. Do you sense that meaning? As a GF, i can focus on hybrid DPS build, or i can go full tanking mode. For each, i need totally different…
On the contrary to the previous person, i'd say the fight where massive control is still needed is CN and PK (not ToS). But anyway, going high dps is always better now.
It is kinda tricky task but i somehow manage to finish it (my Cw has over 1k regen). So today i was doing this Corellon thing when random cleric approached and healed me. No particular moral in this story. Some tasks are easier for one class while some are easier for another. No poor mechanics, just some different…
imho if a tank dies before his party - something went terribly wrong, and ppl need to reorganize and discuss tactics. thus negation is better as i see it. btw, on my gf i used thunderhead enchantment for threat generation. liked it much. could be a tricky thing to survive tho if cw fails on his control role. havent been…
Will this build work if the Int stat won't reach 20? My initial stat roll won't allow me to ever reach that point - so is it worth trying this build when my Int will only score 16 (17 with campfire)?
