Been saving AD and refining mats since they announced the Warlock, so more than a months worth of supplies. Gear: Xvim Belt, Ring, and Amulet. Rank 8 Black Ice Enchants Plaguefire Weapon Enchant Soulforged Armor Enchant Greycloak's Legacy Mainhand (it doesn't level with you, but it's a mid teens blue weapon with an…
Dragonborn look solid, because of their versatile stat choices they will be a good choice for any class and sometimes they'll be the best choice. I don't think they'll always be the best choice though because there are other races with abilities on par with the Dragonborn, namely the Tiefling and Half-Orc, so any class…
If you have the quest for any of the three lairs in the zone then any of the three leprechauns will give you a key. Since all the leprechauns have the exact same quest, you only get one key a day from them, even if you clear all three zones. Note that since you just have to be on the quest for one of the lairs, you don't…
Don't change instances until you've killed it, respawn time is like 90 minutes for Epic HEs. Changing instances before killing could move you from one that is about to spawn to one that was just killed, putting you in an infinite loop of no beholders.
I tried Briartwine for awhile on my GWF, it's damage output just wasn't very high. It did at least deal damage, which wasn't too bad on a nearly unkillable character. Players unfortunately deal a lot more damage then they take, like 10x as much, so for PvE adding back such a small percentage of incoming damage just doesn't…
FFXIV had a hack where you could pull account information from nearby players, and spoof a gold exchange with them. I did buy some greater marks of potency for cash a week or so ago, I have also been more active on the AH buying and selling. Only reason I had soo much cash is I was saving up for my warlock (nothing spent…
Already put in a ticket. Hoping for a reset, had close to a month worth of refining materials gone there is no way I could ever list what is actually missing...been saving up for warlock since the class was announced. Some of the taken items seems haphazard. They left Casks of Wonders, a mark of potency, some R4s and…
Same goes for boons and some class feats that are still out there (the biggest offender was removed at least), just like pets you can choose GS attributes or some other ability. Since GS isn't the end all of anything, except when you are too low to get into a dungeon or IWD, I don't have an issue with it having some grey…
With Skrill you can attempt to make an open credit card payment with no account. Not sure if it works, I always just get an error. Had to get my Paypal account in order to get things to work. I'm not a huge fan of Paypal though, I'd rather be able to just open credit card like you can when purchasing Zen.
The Radiance has more overall stats even counting that it doesn't have a defensive slot for and Eldritch runestone (I've got the math around here somewhere). It has more base stats, each are lower, but they add up to more overall stats, on top of the better active benefit. IMHO if the slow on the Allure even works isn't…
The percent given by the stat is the percent of missing hit points that you heal every tick, both in and out of combat. If you are missing 10,000 hit points and have a 5% regen you will heal 500 hit points on the next tick. Regen caps once you are missing 50% of your health, meaning the most you can regen is 1/2 of the…
Played to 10 and some change, combat seems fine up to there with them. Hard to compare with other classes since I get a Greycloak's legacy weapon and a pile of companions on every level 4 character on the main server, but the warlock seemed to do well. Without getting into the higher level abilities I can't say what they…
One question on the replacements. They say they bind on pick up, any idea if that is bind to character or account? Looking to buy one for a second character and would hate to spend 40k glory to bind a second one to the same character.
Druid isn't core book, or even a core power source. Need another leader type, Warlord would be nice to have. The Warlock hunch is certainly odd, wouldn't be so bad, except your arms and legs are kinda bowed out the whole time as well.
Yeah, it's disappointing to get home from work just to read the new blog with the message at the bottom telling you all the codes have already been redeemed. Score on this one though, must have allowed more codes this time.
I must be a theorycrafter then because I upgraded my Sellsword to purple. I'm also running as Sent and needed a bit of a damage boost. Currently running: Sellsword (purple) Ioun Stone of Radiance (Purple) Skeletal Dog (Blue) Cave Bear (Green) Dire Wolf (Purple) Just bought the bear and need to upgrade it. Don't plan on…
GWF has a unique role, they uniquely excel as offtanks/aoe damage dealers. The problem is that a lot of groups find ways of avoiding the adds (exploit, cliff, moving boss, CW control effects) that GWFs are so good at dealing with.
With Con Arp fixed halflings and dwarves make functional GWFs as well. Tiefling isn't particularly good, but at least it's not like trying to play a half-orc CW.
I run with 24 con, and with a couple pieces of gear have over 30k hp. That being said, the Arp from con focus becomes less valuable as you have more con because at 23 con and 0 Arp from gear you are already capping Arp on some creatures. It also becomes less valuable as you less con as it is a % bonus. Basically, it's not…
I need to check a few numbers, but it appears to be multiplicative...the net damage reduction result being greater than an additive bonus. My listed value is 45.9% which is 12% from AC and 33.9% from defense, but the net reduction is actually 59.7% per the combat log. Assuming multiplicative bonuses the math looks like…
You died 3 times while leveling? Admittedly my GWF did as well, but a couple of those were because I was leaping up to somewhere I shouldn't have been, didn't land where the reticle was, and fell to my death. I think I had 1 actual death from combat. I didn't use the cleric, I barely used healing pots (and always had ones…
Are you actually counting in feats here? Sentinel's Aegis and Armor Specialization don't show their defense boost on the character sheet. I have a listed damage resist of 45.9% on the character sheet, but my effective damage resist after these abilities is actually 59.7% per my combat logs, or just shy of 80% when the…
Campfire healing is also % based and seems to have it's own hard caps. The cap is a per tick cap, so it is possible that regular regen has a per tick hard cap that is completely seperate from the % based cap. If such were true then the more HP a character has the less regen he would need to hit the regen stat hard cap…
The masks are hideous, however, I farmed the quests for the dyes in case I had any use of those for later. I was able to complete the quest 6 times per character, plenty of room to have missed a day for me. I can see where someone only playing evenings after work had to be a bit more precise to get all 5 of their tokens.
