  • I agree with what l0th4ri0 and oicidraz said. In a pve dungeon environment KV ITF ET is the way to go, exceptions prove the rule. To increase your parties performance the most (also and especially as in being able to grab almost all monsters) you want to go 21 tactician and 10 prot. Stacking recovery would probably be a…
  • Where in my response did you see me say that you said you never use ITF? You didn't because it isn't there. Can we just cut the immature bull**** right here? I got your point, mate, but you didnt get mine. I'm not getting why you are so on edge with every response you post, maybe take a chill pill? Noone is calling you…
  • this should not be left alone here uncommented if you guys ask me. what you are saying is, that you dont want your party to do more damage, because you might not be able to build enough threat against it. if put that simple, that's worth a tiny facepalm to me. but im not here to flame, but to get you back on track. 1.: ITF…
  • I'm a pve player through and through and id still go with the halfling. +4% deflect chance is alot (yes 4%, because +2 DEX = 1% deflect) abilities: halfling and dwarf both have +2 con. id pick the +2 dex over the +2 str because: - block is an emergency tool and it regenerate fast enough already, i dont need more, in fact…
  • you can soak damage without being protector. even a conq can run kv permanently. IMO there is no need for being protector if you are experienced enough to not eat all the red circles/big hits there are. bit of avoidance and movement and you are better off going tactician.
  • I'm almost speechless about how cryptic is handling things If it were only that, todays mod 4 brought soooo many new bugs, it's pointless to count em, ive already found plenty by only playing a few hours of dungeons. How long till they fix em? My guess would be mod 5, based on experience of cryptics bug-fixing policy and…
  • After running a few T2 dungeons on live today i decided to go swordmaster based conquerer specc with lifesteal stacking. Arp capped and all that. Why SM? Steel defense is still great and i need/want it, i dont see that i need TR or FS. It's still a tank build though, but with alot sustaindamage. The new blockmeter is…
  • 100% agreed, ran a few epic tos, KV permanently running. the blockmeter lasts forever now, it's not even funny. before, i was always trying to "save" my block for occasions i might need it, now it's almost impossible to get it to empty if im using my abilities.
  • I totally get the comparison between conq and tact. Let's be honest, tactician tree doesnt have alot of defense feats per se, the 10% IRR and more ap could indrectly be considered as such though. Conq and prot is different though i think. Ill ignore the first 10 pts in prot tree, because no matter where id put 21 pts in,…
  • hi, ive been playing around on preview myself but unfortunately didnt make it into a dungeon (my main "playground"), so i couldnt test my builds "in action". Been to icewind, but that doesnt rly count imo. I do pve and dont care for pvp. I'm mainly a tank and intend to stay that way, currently swordmaster tactician at…
  • How is he fighting? He is just standing his point. Way to overdramatise@volchita
  • thanks for the input. what kind of combination are you using? my guess would be purified gauntlets and greaves + corrupted helmet and armor?
  • coming from a GF and concerning pve (i dont care about pvp) would you recommend going BI over timeless hero or grand regent? (i got both) comparing grand regent and puri BI directly, you lose stats everywhere but gain some power (doesnt make up for the 4-set GR bonus) and ofcourse hitpoints. probably going either tactician…
  • good thing i already slot ITF for trash and bosses almost all the time, mainly for the +ap though :p looking forward to the changes, i have no probs finding capable dungeon groups, but being more useful is always more useful.. no? :)
  • I think what kattefjaes meant was, that the coming mark effect has nothing to do with actual resistance ignored or reduced, and therefore arpen values would be unaffected. Still wondering why it's called " -20% damage resistance" then though, im not quite convinced but looking for clarification.
  • It's been long enough, guys. This is getting embarrasing, if it isnt already.
