I can confirm. I always do quests with someone else and she had party lead. I was curious why I didn't get Choke Chain while the other person did. I guess I will also file a bug report / contact support.
@nisckis The basis of your simulation is wrong. You don't want to calulcate average chance of failure (with 1000000 seperate rolls) but average number of wards required to upgrade enchant. For example in this simple python script: It's not really truly random but for 1000 enchants average required number wards for three…
This patch stat distribution looks almost like unintendent change. But it perfectly shows how flawed is additive system with counter ratings. In the end you have lots of useless stats and you feel bad about it (since you will not reach some required counter rating cap - of course given they will change current gear numbers…
Are you in guild? You miss 8k power. Also those stat and eq could be bit better balanced and we don't know if you performed best you could (it gets time to learn how DC operates after changes). Point is that even if we're uncertain you're "BiS" you still managed to solo grouped content. That shouldn't be the case and it…
Some of the mobs are bugged and deal way more damage that it should. Mostly in scaling areas (like stronghold. Or anything below 80 lvl now). That could be reason you couldn't handle those 3 mobs.
How are those worthless? Did you try new system? You can use companion powers and quality rank affects of specific companion type affects summoned companion. Here is good overview: http://nwo.tbotr.net/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=35 Of course one would argue that if you focused your money to upgrade specific companion that was…
Asterdahls means that he have no problem keeping agro but he is not sure if his playmates in internal test do optimal damage. Meaning players could play their dps toons bit better -> deal more dmg -> take aggro from tank.
It's clear just from reading basic of new system. I shouldn't even bother iwth other defensive stats and just go all in HP. If I spread too thin it would be meaningless anyway (I would need same amount as mobs to break even at 0). Same for offensive stats (with counter stats). So I either go all in one stat or just ignore…
I like being buffer/support in Neverwinter but I know needed drastic changes. Dungeons were boring - in mod 15 we're immortal and we either have perfect 4 support 1 dps team killing boss in seconds or struggle for hours with mediocre team. Abundance of mitigation sources, healing (lifesteal), low cds (recovery), buffs,…
Did you not see all posts that GWF dps and tanking will be seriously readjusted in next weeks? If you think that some of the skills are too weak then just post feedback here.
Wild idea: Change this: Living Fire: Now triggers when you drop below 35% hit points (instead of 30%) Living Fire: Now lasts for 5 seconds after it was triggered, even if you are healed above 35% To: Living Fire: If you are hit for more than 30% of your Maximum Hit Points in a single blow, you deal 5/10/15/20/25% extra…
Any why people take x instead of current cookie cutter? Because cookie cutters are not infinite resouce :) It's rare to find AC with power high enough to beat DOs in buffs (if we would compare them for 1DC run). Remember than the better OP and dps the less efficient your buffing will be. Group looking for that last DC spot…
Wild idea - shouldn't new skirmish give a lot of gold? It's called Bank Heist for some reason!*. It would give some reason to run it. Also new "walk over loot to pick up" could dip gold price a lot. *disclamer - I didn't play it yet so I don't know rewards or new campaign plot.
Think about this way: Runic key cost 2k vonin. How do you feel spending 40k AD for key that will yield much much less? I just think that those values are placeholders. 50vonin to 250AD would be better. If you can reliably farm 15k vonin in hour it would net around 75k AD. Similiar to other ways to make AD (it would be nice…
I did 30 CRs and only once with 2DC. So it's anecdotal evidence but 2xDC meta wasn't problem lately (more like 4 buffers 1 dps meta). I think we don't need big nerfs but tweaks and little revamps :P Or change how buffs work (additive vs multiplitive)
I think what you propose would be debuffs? And devs initial proposal was to give TI debuff (25% personal buff, 10% debuff). Actually when I think about it devs proposal is absurd..to have one passive power giving 25% personal buff and 10% debuff? Outside of debate how it affects DC DO etc having just one power giving so…
@thefiresidecat Nerfing AC powershare is worst solution. It was nerfed several times and now you need very high power to compete with DC do buffs. Of course AC give various different utilities too bit DC do also have its perks (like 2nd dps.. but people rarelly utilitize their DC that well). I dont believe that any class…
I don't think that "You nerfed one path so nerf second one too" is best choice there :) Especially like you said "AC is a build that generally requires a big time investment". I'm on fence with those changes. I liked that DC DO was easy and fast way to have character wanted in end game. On other hand it was weird to have…
He worded it in different way (he calls all those chest "legendary key chests") but those keys should still exist. And we will be able to reroll content of those chest as well but I believe it will work this way: 1) Open chest and use campaign key or legendary key. 2) You don't like content: reroll (1st reroll). Use 1…
One more reason to make it unbound! If I don't get my daily consolation (or pity fee) prize then at least make it unbound so I can buy or sell it if I see it fit. For instance I have decent luck for rings and I could share it with some people.. for exchange for stuff I couldn't get to drop.
Suggestion: make loot unbound. Like +4, +5 rings. Right now after I got my +5 rings (like Gravestrike) I immedietely lost interest in some content. There is no reason for me to run it if I can't sell it. With this change AD would value more (people would transfer zen to ad so they would be able to buy legendaries from…
Umm.. I'm not mastercrafter but let me say it: mw don't generate AD out of thin air. This just transfer one guy AD to one guy inventory.. So they wouldn't be able to make lots of AD if they wouldn't have buyers able to pay them lots. And they can't buy zen without someone buying it first for real cash. So our economy would…
I will test it on preview and then comment this. But I think some people have weird misconception. Seals will be tradeable to AD directly. I assume that instead of buying ring and salvaging it for 3k AD I will be able to buy 3k AD for 300 seals directly. But there is one weird thing.. "The reason for this was to both…
The problem is that even if you or me are not flooded the whole market is. Just check Zen backlog on PC - it's reaching 24 mils now? And when more people will finish their enchantment upgrades there will be even less reasons for buying marks. Like @draconislupus said it don't need to be sink we're forced into but something…
@draconislupus We're flooded with AD right now so we need AD sinks. It doesn't have to be flat cost in tasks. Even upgrade cost of tools or crafters (but that would be once a time thing so it wouldn't be good long term ad sink). Although rush cost will be used a lot for some time because people will want to get their new…
How new system will connect with gameplay? I'd love to upgrade and do new professions because crafting was always my favourite part of any MMO. But I wonder if it will be connected in some way to content? Like "you need x asset that drop only in Tong" or similiar. It would be nice to have reason to run some content - even…
I've finished random FBI with 11k+ HR and 11k+ GWF (I don't remember numbers but around lowest IL possible in first random queue version). It took about 45 minutes so lot longer than my runs on main.. but still it was lot easier than mods ago because of all power creep. Fresh 70 lvl have access to very good gear.…
After several "sit here in the corner" runs people need to be forced for that :P AD wise it was best to run for first few weeks until shard prices etc settled down. Also all not-skipable monologues get old very, very fast. And in average teams (so my daily reality) Strahd or Sisters take some time and it's exhausting to…
