I would recommend getting an augmented companion such as the Ioun Stone of Allure (Max rank 25 unless upgraded to 30) or Ioun Stone of Might. I usually run with 2-3 Control Wizards, 1-2 Melee (GWF or TR) and a DC.

The armor enchantment soulforged is highly recommended. You will want to focus on destroying all the caskets or as many as possible during that phase by interacting with them. It works you just have to loot or interact with 3 different chests to get the rods even if you have a person or people with you. I believe it is messed up currently and if you have 3 people in a group and just grab 1 rod i think it will say you have grabbed all 3 possibly. Even though you still need to get the others,

Defeated Valindra's Tower on live for the first time around 9:30 am Central Standard Time. Later in the afternoon, we completed it again with a couple different members.

Next module is coming on December 5th, which will introduce Valindra's tower. There are artifcats that are being introduced that are like trinkets that have a 3 minute cooldown on them. You are allowed to be able to equip 3 at the same time. The artifacts give you stat bonuses and other effects such as heals over time.
