@"cwhitesidedev#9752" Good luck and kudos for doing something that should have been done years ago. I haven't read the whole thread but in the first few pages there are enough suggestions that if implemented I might be tempted to put some time and energy back into the game. But as others have said, you have a lot of work…
Avernus was one of my favorite D&D adventures when I was playing tabletop. But my excitement at coming back to play something I liked was killed by the warlock not really getting any significant fixes/changes to bring it back in line with other classes. Warlocks are still throwing out banana skins instead of dealing…
They could open source the foundry. Release an open source version of NW. If it was open sourced I might even be interested in working on it. And I'd bet money on the open source version becoming far more active in development than the Cryptic version. More stable and far less bugs. Better story arcs too, I played through…
For fighters/Barbies I believe it is Strength, Wizards and Warlocks it is Intelligence. Rogues would be Dex, Rangers.... either Dex or Strength - not sure about those two. I don't know about Cleric and Pally either. I'd assume wisdom but this is Neverwinter not D&D. But a summary in case some of them aren't correct, the…
Part of the fun was taking new players to WOD, taking them to green and watching them ooh and ahh at different mounts, and then the OMG at the dragon landing, killing a dragon and then the race to blue. Despite the naysayers that exist, it was and still is fun. Similarly, the Dragonflight events in the SH. Although we got…
@"ecrana#2080" Yeah, it wasn't always that way. I can't remember exactly when it started but it's been a while. But like other bugs in game, unless they are game breaking, dev's just don't have the manpower to hunt down what is causing them. Of course if the bug affects income/zen it jumps the priority list but those…
My girlfriend would invoke for me and switch in some random companions so they got the XP from the invoke. Didn't take too long before they were all at max level. Just have to be wary of having the wrong companion summoned when you do a run. Otherwise, switch to a comp you want to level up when you invoke then switch it…
I miss being able to jump to a nearly full instance that wasn't on the DR radar and doing a DR solo or with one or two friends, seeing how many dragons we could get in that 10 minutes. Obviously before the M16 nerf gun came out. I don't think I've been back since then. Certainly not in the last 4-5 months.
My girlfriend was reading patch notes out loud. What was said: "In order to resolve an issue in which some Warlocks created before Module 16 had powers stuck in their power tray, a free respec has been given to all Warlocks created before 15:46 PDT on October 22nd, 2019." What I heard: "Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah…
It feels like the class is still being punished for the short period where the damnation build was so ridiculously over powered. The majority of warlock features are gimped, hobbled or out right crippled. Curse Bite removing the curse before applying damage therefore negating Dark Prayers is just another example. Killing…
I know, it's super creepy but awesome. I kinda wish other things in game could chase you around like that, not just the mobs. :) Like a stealthy Treant or something.
The thing is though, for a random queue all you need is the ilvl. No experience needed. No knowledge of game mechanics needed. Heck, you can almost do it without a keyboard. Just hotkey/macro some mouse buttons and set follow on some poor dupe, sit back and drink coffee. That's the type of scenario in which having the…
The best was an egg sac in one of the rothe valley quests that CLIMBED the stairs. It chased my girlfriends toon UP the stairs. Hilarious. Dumb, but hilarious.
Remember, the Manticores have 85 ft CA on the group now. And the way they split means they have CA all the time on most groups. The new dmg formula boosts their damage dealt as well, probably by the same amount it boosted every other class (except Warlocks of course).
One other point to note, if you hadn't realised yet. You don't need to do the AI campaign. Don't even have to pick up the quest, unlike last year's event that was tied in to the AI campaign. Another point is you also don't need to level up to 80 or even 70. You get your 100 incentives once you open the level 59 adventurer…
Good point, and you are totally right. I can see that happening with experienced players, but not with new players. New players aren't going to necessarily know a dungeon is terrible until they unlock it and run it. And that will only be if experienced players tell them. Or, they are bot farmers, which nothing really is…
Having the requirement of finishing a campaign to unlock a dungeon was fine. If you want to run Malabogs Castle, you finish Sharandar. It IS the final part of that zone after all. Same goes for all the other dungeons. This shouldn't block a person for doing randoms - they just don't get dungeons they haven't unlocked. If…
My only requests for customer support were responded to with a generic "can't do that, too bad, so sad" response. Followed up by a customer service rep sending me a ridiculously stupid response that I posted on the forums and get severely moderated for. My girlfriends only request to support was to swap an item that she…
I deleted what I was going to say. I'm just tired of the ignorance and incompetence shown by the developer team. Good luck with the changes everyone. Later.
There a so many things a soul puppet could be useful for. When it dissipates it could spread warlocks curse to every mob within 30'. It could be useful and attack mobs .... before .... the end of combat. It could even be more useful and help give you perma CA when active. It could be CC immune, I mean it is a soul after…
Okay, normally I would test all this myself but not this time. Probably never again actually. I was actually thinking they might have gotten rid of KFs gimpy mechanic altogether, obviously I was dreamin'.
I read the other threads and I can't see how this is going to be a boost at all. On paper, this is just more of the nerf bat. This is a more detailed description of the simple maths I did in my head when I first read the announcement. Dev's seem to think this a needed boost to a subpar damage dealer. When it looks like the…
