You are correct - nothing new though as fun factor has been on the decline for years. If someone tells you they have 200 end game toons, well, you draw your own conclusions lol
I haven’t crashed at the end, yet (fingers crossed). I usually crash at the beginning. What’s weird is, it’s not right away. Usually 10-20 seconds after loaded in.
Yep, it’s pretty much the norm. Q, wait around forever for Q to pop. Load into dungeon, and either yourself or someone else will crash back to Xbox home screen.
Agreed. I’ve allayed pug’d dungeons. Mainly on my DC, but also on my GF tank and OP. I would speed run content with friends (most have quit the game btw), but then public q because I enjoyed it as well. Scaling serves no purpose- I can guarantee new players don’t enjoy clunking along either.
Agreed, I tuned out after 15-20 minutes. Too many people, too difficult to hear and all around too busy. Honestly - in this situation, I don’t care about anybody’s input if their not employed by the game. Give me the plan. Throw the Roadmap on the screen and and let’s drill down through the timeline. “We’re going to…
Very well said. My very first run of FBI when it launched on console - no tank. A MSPC, no healer. Many other examples of dungeon runs that occurred that were a blast. Good fun stuff, that no longer occurs.
Just a note, on the buff cleric part for mod 8-15. I’m sure you know this, while what you said is true. There wasn’t that many groups (On Xbox anyhow) that could actually do that. I actually think that’s what made the game enjoyable - bringing together the group synergy to curb stomp bosses.
I’m with you guys. I was in TLO. Manned a OP, got bored with it switched to DC. Changed over to DO for MOD14 to buff (I believe that was the mod) then back over when DO get nerfed in MOD15. Then 16 hit and I took a break. Came back a few weeks ago. I enjoyed my old DC, I could do anything with it. I want feat options, real…
One of the worst, if not worst mistakes ever made in this game was removing the option to solo Q and earn rough AD. It removed speed runners, those that were advantage could run lower level content and help, and if you wanted Q along for the hell of it you could.
We all talk about undercutting on the AH. But WE all know that anybody with a brain, straight up trades any item of value; of course this takes more time and effort. But how many awesome stories have you heard about trade chat “flippers” that started with 2 widgets and turned it into a rank 14 negation over the course of…
Here’s a crazy idea, and I don’t want to read all the posts to get up to date, Whatever you all agree to/come up with - cash us all out on our existing VIP and relaunch it. I’d be good with it and it would be a good way to get out of the lockbox game - those days are coming to an end as it is.
Cryptic needs to incentivize spending. I believe this a poor ploy to do so. They keep thinking that catering to the lowest common denominator is the fix; it’s not. I’ll just say it. You show me you can release awesome, bug free content. Bring back my old feat tree, give me real choice - I’d be more than happy to pay a…
Let me ask this, and maybe it allow better feedback or open the discussion to other avenues. What is the purpose of revamping VIP? What do you hope to gain? This is a two way conversation. I agree VIP could use some tweaking/modern updating. But I’m betting our goals are not aligned.
I’ve had this happen today. Chest bugged out during ME. Wasn’t able to claim Rune Etching. End result only 2 of 3 claimed for the day. This is probably the 3rd, maybe 4th time that this has happened.
I equipped mine just to see what all the fuss was about. I wasn’t impressed. I do way more damage with an augment. The only benefit I see to using Xuna is keeping mobs away/in check while soloing (This is on a Arbiter Cleric as well)
And that kind of great thinking is what has greatly contributed to a decline in the player population. Because long term players want to continue to ride the struggle bus, by being scaled? Makes sense, lol. There was other, more effective ways to handle the tinder timmy’s that complained about the disparity between them,…
I concur with what everyone here has said. But to echo, MOD 16 destroyed the game. “class balance”, scaling and core mechanic changes have made the game very uninteresting. I went from 6 or 7 toons that were maxed out down to one - because I’m just not that interested anymore. Now I run around on a DC spamming at-wills -…
True dat, on the Underdark Rings, I have at least 50 of the +5’s. I can’t bring myself to trash them. There’s a lot of things I would like changed. But, I think the biggest and most useful is how to make and keep older zones relevant, and useful. Every mod/campaign area eventually becomes abandoned - this can’t make sense…
I had a maxed out DC and lots of ALT that were 17-18K with all boons. I've only been doing MOD 16 with my DC. Up to level 80 and IL of 22K - I don't find any of this enjoyable. It's easy, sure. But it's not something I'm not going to hang around and play this mind numbing mess.
Honestly, I think "they" are hostile towards all players - especially those that can see/figure out/call out that HAMSTER is jacked up. "Damn it guys, STFU and just buy keys - everything will be much easier that way..."
Pfft, that's nothing. I've ran Fane weekly on 5 toons since the mod dropped and just recently got my first +5. How many completions is that, 200? I do agree loot drops and overall RNG sucks - it always has.
