Is the Infernal Forged Armor new? It sure looks a lot like Black Ice Armor with a new color scheme.

just looks like they rotated the characters around

Idk if this says more about lack of effort on the part of the development team, or what they think of our intelligence to believe we would think this is "new". Very disappointing.

pretty disapointing that they cant even be bothered to make a new skin. But tbh, it wasnt unexpected.

Actually, that is all this is, "a new skin" a simple texture for an old existing armor. They did not make a new 3D mesh at all. I went on Preview to look at the stats this offers, and I am not overtly impressed by those either. I stopped by my shop and no new armors to make are on the list. One should be aware this Infernal Forged Armor is the armor purchased with seals and not the dungeon armor that looks a lot better.

Black ice gear was ugly and that was the only set of gear I wanted to transmute to something else back then.

This of course is the better looking armor... for this module.

Also they added some fashion outfits too.

Probably comes down to what they can get approved by WotC in the time frame of the module.

After module 15, I don't think they need approval for much of anything.

sort of, I assume that WotC has removed the requirements on the IP for development but will still require it to receive approval for content changes to ensure it doesn't got to far off base from the franchise. Which explains only getting 2 mods in 2019. I think their attention officially moved on Oct 29th.

It almost looks like you change the color on your own.
But sad true, it is the real "new" set.

And sadly, for those who started after mod 3, it will be a brand new skin

I think you can still get black ice gear today. I think I got a black ice arm drop from its BHE half year ago.

Its just proof that with enough time an old and discarded armor or garment skin will be given new life. I'll give them a point for recycling. Not interested in the set otherwise.

IIRC you can get everything except the Mainhand. However, that is just the base set. Purified and Corrupted aren't craftable anymore that I know.
