I'd say the rumours of Trappers being dead are highly exagerated. Hell, I came out of a Cradle run a few hours ago with Scourge Warlock, Trickster Rogue and Trapper HR being the main DPS - with the Trapper being top damage - and the run was as smooth as any run. Maybe the problem is the people playing the Trappers.

The same patch I downloaded about two or three days ago to access Preview is now being patched for Live, while I accessed Live a few hours ago without having to patch. edit: and by same patch I mean the same size. A little under 5.4 gig for me.

Yeah, I fried my GPU so I'm stuck on my netbook doing other things. At first glance I thought your charts on Careful Attack were broken, but then I remembered Careful Attack doesn't proc any WE's. Also, if I read the charts right - like I said, I'm a total idiot when it comes to math - they're based on base critsev?

Artifleur is right. CA behaves a lot like CritSev once you hit 100% crit, and calculating the improvement to your damage from CritSev is both easy and - often - disappointing.

The reflect damage is especially amusing when the effect procs on a mob that has Creeping Death stacks on it. I'd be running around, flailing my arms and screaming 'No, please, stop!' while I rather rapidly burn to death.
