At the moment I'm wearing chest/feet vivirelic, jarls head, and survivors wraps arms, which I switch to relic arms for fbi/mSVA. Not sure whether I can summon the energy to get the executioner chest, depends if there is any farmable end game content next mod I guess.

Tossed my orcus gear into the dex/wis neck on day one of 11.5, and haven't looked back since, orcus artifact went straight into a key of stars. Good riddance.

About the only gear I'm chasing are double slot offence. Brutality+5 etc. IG pet gear. The worst thing about neverwinter is this unfortunately, it all comes down to rng at the end. Doesn't matter how skillful you are, how experienced, how well geared or built.

    Just dumb luck.

If you don't have it I'll suggest to wait as well, at least until they release it on preview and you can get an idea of what new items are coming online and what you have to do to get them. Manticore looks good and there's also an option with arpen which is good if you don't have Loyal Avenger gear, but spending a few millions for what is basically a small upgrade on Dragonflight only to discover that the new Super-Duper Dinosaur Scale Armor you can grind solo is much better would be quite depressing.

As I expected new armor is coming (my feeling is that we'll get new armor and new weapons alternated in new modules). Time to check preview and see.

Well with the announcement of all the new gear/easy ways to get them in Mod 12, looks like I'll be skipping the manticore gear after all. At this point will probably just pickup the Executioner's since I'm maxed on Guild Marks anyways and wait around for mod 12 to farm the new stuff. No sense in wasting time/ad on manticore gear now.

yup me too. not gonna upgrade my relic armor. not gonna spend big money on anything now. I wonder if the ostorian rings will be purchasable plus 5? I'm both jealous of pc people and SO GLAD i'm not one lol. all these things that would be infuriating if we had it sprung on us like they have had done.

I was starting it and then the blog hit lol. I will never understand their need to invalidate content so quickly.

I mean I've had my relic gear on my main for 8 months or so. The price tag was a bit high considering the RNG but w/e. I just wish they'd stop invalidating content every 3 months and pretending that they actually struggled with their decision to do so. If that was true they would've told us "Hey guys we're going to release weapons that are easier to restore and upgrade two months after you finally get your relic weapons" or "We're going to release better armor right after you finish masterwork 3". But they wait for people to bend over and then they tell us.

I also really doubt they'd let us get +5s. Who knows though maybe they'll finally do something nice.

MASTERWORK by way of PROFESSIONS shouldnt be limited to GUILD rank/lvl. By way of BINDING, it should be guild/alliance related. When the game started, crafting wasnt limited by others, it shouldnt be now. the limits are killing smaller. solo player guilds. 75% of my Alliance has stopped playing. as i see it, they cant progress bc they cant get the gear they need, in a small alliance. I crafted my first Epic set. figure out a way that Masterwork can be purchased from the alliance in a way that is fair to benefit the alliance. my profs are STUCK at 20 right now and i've basically stopped playing and my alliance has too. i cant get them back. u screwed the whole profs thing by relating it to guild lvl. individual knowledge is seperate from cummulative

Players that aren't in a guild can't afford masterwork anyways and no, your professions are not stuck at 20 because you can get them to 25 without masterwork.

BASICALLY, i have to kill my whole Alliance bc THEY lost interest in playing bc they got killed and couldnt progress, CASUAL players, not hell bent to beat the game tonight. The masterworks were promising to them bc most of my characters are rk20 profs across the board. Maybe that should be the marker not, guild hall level. Hell, I got prompted for a "mandatory" respec of my HR tonight, paragon path and all... just WOW. WoW is actually where ur losing a lot of ur player base, imo. This game has become more pay to win than WoW is pay to play. WoW isnt D&D though and this game has gone far from it too. I dont pay to play a game when its not economically viable and NWO is that, not economically viable at this point. i talked my daughter into this game, shes set on WoW, now. Cant fix broke, go back to where NWO started, expansions aint gonna fix broke. U broke the Profs with Guild rank specification, killed player interest. all my chars are ready to lvl25 profs. cant help noone. BS

So for all of you guys that are complaining about having no room for Arpen... lol you had better make room. If you have not heard the cap was raised for the next mod. It is setting between 82-85% from what is being put out atm. Which if you are using 3 Loyal Avenger items its so easy to hit.

Probably worth having a bit more if you can get it without sacrificing too much, just for added damage on the big boss fights outside this new "topple" mechanic where the bosses have crazy DR until they fall over.

It'll take us two or three days before we find the balance between having enough ArP and maxing crit. I'm not sure why people are getting their panties in a bunch.

It's pretty straightforward: Get your Crit and ArP sorted, and if you're running with any kind of power-sharing teammate, you're golden. Power is actually a pretty HAMSTER stat at the moment. Yes, I know it's the only thing we have to keep boosting, but all your efforts pale to having a DC and OP running alongside you.

Hit the ArP and Crit cap - 100%, obviously - and rely on your teammates after that. Once both are sorted, you can start looking at adding more power. It's no rocket science.

I think I'll settle for just switching my mount bonus, which will give me 100% initial spike crit, still around 70k power and 100%-ish arpen with my pet buff. At last the legacy axebeak I bought for pvp back in mod6 will be useful. I lose 2k power for 4k arpen basically

Looking at all the different 1 piece bonuses on the new mod12 gear.... min/maxing armor next mod is going to be a ginormous headache. Which is good I guess. I'll be hunting dinosaurs for most of the summer lol.

So this is what I have gone for in the newest Mod...

Aboleth Weapons, these are actually pretty decent and sometimes stunlock enemies.
Helm - Bloodlords Visage, excellent stats and +100 power per kill up to 25.
Armour - Executioners Black Attire, 5% extra damage from sides + back (glitched with Weapon Enchants it seems).
Gloves - Wisley's Dreaded Dueling Wristguards, nice Defensive stats also 1.1k extra Crit + Power against a solo enemy.
Feet - Elemental Dragonflight Raid Boots, will change these at some point but they have almost 1k Crit.
    Ring of Rising Power +5
    Ring of Rising Precision +4
    Dex Belt (+4)
Company Cloak (Dex +2 Wis +2)
Greater Everfrost Pants + Shirt, these are great for the 2 buffs (manipulated by Shepherds Devotion)
    Trans Dread + Shadowclad

    Wheel of Elements
    Token of Cromatic Storm
    Lantern of Revelation
    Forgehammer of Gond

I have 2 Trapper builds that use this set up and they are very very good. I have a completely different set of gear for PvP and another 2 Builds.

I really have not put much time and thought into Loadouts yet but I have 8-10 viable builds I think, at least.

Main - Rydia (HR70) - Xbox One Player only
    Alts :
Storm (SW70), Edge (TR70), AD Farm (CW70), Grunt (GF70), Rosa (DC70), AD AD AD (GWF70), Your Mum (OP70)
