I was wondering the same thing. I noticed that we could create a Dragon Queen's Key after only completing "Prevent Tiamat's Return" once, so I wasn't sure what was the point of completing that task 5 times.

There are other MMOs where players can share the quest drops/nodes. Even a game like Destiny has it implemented where players can share the quest drops to prevent ninja abuse. This NW Fetch quest is probably more annoying than the pre-patch lightning jars quest and that's saying something.

I have a new 8GB Windows 8.1 ASUS N550JK laptop with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M (2GB Video RAM) and the latest drivers. I think the Monsters on Ice event seems to favour the CWs the most. On my wiz, I had a score of 513 out of 12 people playing and the next highest was like 400.

Having a blast with the Hearthstone, even though it's not as complex as MtG. Hearthstone is really easy to get into and insanely addictive.

Never had problems queuing up and completing the daily dungeons/skirmishes when I was levelling my toons (only the Gray Wolf dungeon was tricky to complete). Just get the tank to grab aggro from the adds so that you don't get interrupted. Rogues etc. can easily solo dps the bosses so there's no real need for the tanks to be on them when they can help with adds.

After getting a skeleton companion for 2 toons, I have to say that I did not enjoy the event. It was meant to be fun, but the amount of tokens needed for one companion was too much and made the event too grindy, a real chore and not fun to do at all. The method of handing in the charms just exacerbated the already grindy…

PRO: Like the presentation of the event. It looks great. CON: Feel like 600 charms for the companion is a bit much. I can see players with not much free time or with many alts getting burned on this. Also, handing in the charms one at a time and needing to go to different NPCs can get incredibly tedious.

Doing the skirmishes/dungeons as you level will be much more interesting/challenging and make you learn your class far better than facerolling easy solo content with a party. Yeah, my natural instinct is that it will be safer to open the purses instead of gambling on much fewer chests. I too don't have much faith in RNG, especially the one they use in this game, lol.

The devs should look into the code for the RNG system they are using. The RNG system this game uses has to be one of the worst I've encountered.

Yeah, they're supposed to be the same drop rates, but I've had way more completions in SP than the other instances and I've still not seen a T2 helm drop, whereas I got the other T2 set items from the other instances with far less completions.

I'm talking about tanks who are not interested in doing anything other than tanking the boss. If they're really that interested in only tanking/dpsing the boss, just roll a rogue, lol.
