What it is Good for? Rise of Tiamat Campaign - Prevent Tiamat's Return Task

I completed this task 1/5. It requires a Linu's Favor which is pretty valuable for me now. I don't see a reason to complete this task 5 times for a Draconic Enchantment which is pretty useless. Is there something I miss there or is this a task with no outcome since the tasks Dragon Queen's Key and Dragon Empire Treasures are open for me.

I don't know the stance of PWE on bug misuse, but considering that some games penalize you with serious penalties for doing so I recommend to finish the Prevent Tiamat's Return Task 5 times.
So what if the bug is that its actually supposed to be a 1/1 task and showing 5/5 instead? Waste 5 favors just to be safe? Cryptic would certainly be kind enough to refund those lost favors right......right? Yea, right. 5 favors is roughly 2 million AD if I recall correctly, not exactly something you just toss away "to be safe".
Just buy some of the legendary keys and be done with it. Nothing about that task is worth it anyways.
Considering there has been no official statements in any regard to how this is supposed to work, nothing is obvious. In any case, any of these tasks are a complete waste of time and AD. There is nothing that comes out of the chest that is worth anything close to the cost of a key. This seems more like incomplete content rather than a bug.
They're hard to collect, aren't they? You'll need 15 for your off-hand. You'll need 30 for the second-to last boon. You'll need 50 for the last boon.
I was wondering the same thing. I noticed that we could create a Dragon Queen's Key after only completing "Prevent Tiamat's Return" once, so I wasn't sure what was the point of completing that task 5 times.
It is an exploit from a semantic point of view, though a minor one that one would be stupid to punish for. I wouldn't worry about it.
As for the task itself, yes it's useless, it's not worth 5 favor. Had it not been bugged, it'd take a month for it just to pay off with doing dailies. A month to earn 5 favor isn't really that great. If you're in it for the long term fine, but personally I tihnk it's best to save up that, farm for that month, get what you want earlier, and probably skip boon 7. I also doubt mod 6 will be a continuation of mod 4 and 5. Tiamat is gone and so seems to be the whole dragon theme. Though since the dragon theme that does mean that they could release other artifacts. Currently we have golden dragon artifact weapons.
