Not sure if any one is interested, he just annouced it on another website a day ago.

I've been excited to announce this for months, since I first found out about it, quite by accident, when a friend sent me Ice-T's hilarious rant about narrating a D&D story. As I read his blog, I said, "Hey, that's my story!" And yes it was...Audible.com has just released "The Legend of Drizzt: The Collected Stories."
Each of the 12 stories is narrated by a different actor, and it's a line-up that I love: Sean Astin, Michael Chiklis, Wil Wheaton, Ice-T, Tom Felton, Weird AL Yankovic, David Duchovny, Greg Grunberg, Felicia Day, Melissa Rauch, Danny Pudi and Dan Harmon.
Best of all for anyone interested in this, for the next 40 days - in honor of the 40th anniversary of D&D - it's free! (You can pick individual stories, or get the whole collection.)

Tx for this. Picked it up. Magenubbie, it may be DRM but the last time I used audible it did allow to burn the files to cd too.

I know. Only recent burning apps don't have the required license and codec to convert them. For burning them you'll need to use an older version. I've been told Nero 7 is the last of that line that has the required codec and license. Unfortunately, getting that version to work on win 7 is a bit of a pain.
Maybe I'll give it a try inside a virtual XP environment and see if that works.
That's probably it then. It's been a long time since I bothered to burn one, (ever since I got my first ipod) so Nero 7 or previous might have been what I used.

Nice one Cayapp , I've been listening to Asoiaf for the past couple of months when I'm on very early starts at work so this will help break up that nicely .

Felicia Day should be the voice actor/narrator for all D&D Audiobooks!* <3
(*Unless Ed Greenwood himself is the narrator)

    I really enjoyed these.

I actually thought Wil Weaton did a fantastic job. I was quite amazed at his voices. The one Sean Aston did, though, had me cracking up in a good way. And poor Ice T...I was listening to them going "why is he complaining?" until I heard the story he had to narrate; I would have had a hard time with that one.

This was an awesome treat though and I really appreciate Wizards of the Coast and R.A. Salvatore doing this!
