  • The old Lockbox of the Nine / Noble's Enchantment Pack also has a chance of giving you a LifeDrinker of Bloodtheft enchant, if you're willing to test your luck.
  • Mounts have 3 options to set - the skin (what you will see when riding), the speed (generally, choose the highest), and if you have a legendary mount, the mount combat power. The pic shows the player is using a Dusk Unicorn skin, but the mount power is the power from the Black Ice Warhorse. And for those that may not know…
  • Without seeing some info on your character, it's tough to say what the issue is... are you being scaled? What kind of gear are you using? What powers are you using, and how are you using them? If you're doing content for your level, you should generally be ok, so there may be other factors in play....
  • Honestly, the problem isn't the profession system, but what you're choosing to do in it. In each profession, there will be some items that are quite profitable to make and sell back to a vendor - usually in the level 15-30 range. Brass rings, healing potions, deerskin boots.... things that cost a couple silver to make, and…
  • Personally, I'm a big fan of VIP - a lot of the items are dreadfully convenient - the bank and vendor especially. It makes inventory management exceptionally easier. But if that's not for you, *shrug* - it's your game, enjoy it how you like. It's not 'wrong' to not have VIP any more than it's not 'wrong' to not have a car…
  • I've only completed LoMM a couple times, but was definitely competitive in my DPS (though not tops, because the barbarian at the top is both geared to the teeth, and a really good player). I plan on running it fairly often this weekend, though - papa needs some new undies! - so I'll try and remember to grab some screen…
  • Personally, I'm running Wanderer's Fortune (RP), Gladiator's Guile (stamina regen), Barbarian's Revelry (heal on crit), Oppressor's Repreive (heal when controlled), and Survivor's Blessing (heal on deflect). Once your stats are mostly capped, the bonuses that add stats lose most of their value - 98k critical strike is…
  • No zen orders were changed when the move to a cap of 750AD:1 Zen was introduced. All orders were refunded back to players. If you didn't clear your zen exchange account, any AD you used to try and buy zen with will still be there, waiting for you to do something with it.
  • Right now? Yeah, crafting isn't going to be used for much in the way of end-game gear / AD generation (on a large scale) - and I expect it will stay this way until mod17. That being said, it's still far from useless, especially for players still on the road to 70. Decent way to generate gold, along with a bit of AD, along…
  • While I'm really enjoying the changes to the companion system, there is currently one rather glaring failing in it - the near-complete lack of companion gear options. Will we be seeing more ways to get companion gear in the near future (i.e. before mod 17) to allow for more customization in stats and flexibility for…
  • Have you tried disabling on-demand patching, then going back in?
  • I'm honestly not surprised that the Journal is getting adjusted. Everything else that gave massive AP gain like that were reduced in a big way coming into mod16, so it was really just a matter of time before the Journal got changed, too. Keep in mind, the devs aren't calculating for massive AP gain with players, and daily…
  • I haven't bothered comparing numbers from ACT or anything, but I main a DC, and I've had exactly no issue providing solid DPS to a group. It's all about proper resource management. If you're just firing off spells without max. pips, or not channeling divinity to refill the tank somewhere in your rotation, you're gonna be…
  • @nitocris83 - any notes for the patch today?
  • I'd have to doublecheck, but just doing my 3 dailies for the last week or so (since I first visited LoMM), I've piled up about a dozen Essences. There might be a bit of RNG there, but not enough that it'll make a huge difference to people. It's not going to be super common, but if you are in a 5-person group, odds are good…
  • Small quibble - it's also possible to for a pair of connected players to get the *same* symbol. If that happens, the players actually need to move as close to each other as possible. Being far apart leads to a knockback that will put them into the rings (and take damage on the way back into the fight). Otherwise, really…
  • Based on wait times for my last orders, it's moving at slightly under 1 million/day. Orders placed on May 3-4 are just getting filled for me, so about 20 days, and the backlog has been consistently in the 15-16M range.
  • I got two full sets in my first week of running MEs. Then two weeks without seeing any. Then I just got a 3rd off-hand the other day. RNG is weird.
  • I think we may have been in that ME together, @ph33rm3 .... Are you in the TFC alliance? For everyone else: You *can* talk to the spirit while one fight is going on, and summon a second (and possibly more) bosses. Summoning the 'hidden' boss is simple - after a fight, an Eternal Shadow might spawn. Talk to them, offer them…
  • While maybe not all "BiS", you can still buy really decent armor, rings, and undies for seals, on top of the plethora of stuff that will be dropping from MEs. Primal weapons will work fine until the Alabaster set drops for you. There's been RNG in pretty much every mod. In Barovia, it was whether or not the hunt you were…
  • We can consistently top Paingiver, and our heals are in demand because of the Cleanse.... not a bad deal, really...
  • @b0rkch0p - what you're seeing is a bit of delay from Sudden Verdict - your Searing Javelins add 1 yellow pip, then SV kicks in and tries to fill the yellow pips - while you had started casting Lance (red pip generator).
  • I actually did the quest on my main, and it took 5 days to get the 5 pieces.... Maybe that's why I have 2 full sets of my Alabaster weapons. Of course, Zok hasn't given me anything worthwhile, as I hear about alliance members who have multiple artifacts from him.... :'(
  • Judging by the crowd here, I must be a serious minority. Y'see, I'm enjoying the new mod. I'm not saying it's perfect, but overall, I'm pretty happy. I've run content on all 8 of my toons (1/class) - from my (now) 23k+ Cleric to my lowly 13k TR. Zone content has been totally manageable on all of them. I've liked the…
  • Off the top of my head, it's not the only campaign like that - both Dread Ring and Underdark have similar delays built in (between boon 4 & 5).
  • This issue is affecting the coupons from invoking as well - both the "25% off any companion" and "33% off companion" (as there are no more Striker / Leader / Defender / Controller types...)
  • See, the RNG is what keeps you engaged, IMO - did you proc a Sudden Verdict? Will your next SJ auto-crit? If you're not paying attention, that stuff will be missed. If you're on top of it, you'll be taking advantage of the opportunities they provide (either more DPS, or fast Divinity generation).
  • Sort of, kind of. Defense generally comes up short on the count, though. Rainier's Pocket Wiki is an excellent resource for finding the companions (and companion powers) you want, though, and should be consulted if you're looking to fill a particular slot - even if it's just with a cheap filler companion. And yes, OP - the…
  • Yeah, RNG is just hating you. I've managed 2x weapon sets on my main (sorry, my bad). I've yet to see any 1000 gear from an ME, though, nor have I seen an artifact (aren't those only from Lost Adventurer boxes?).
