Yes, I find that what my gear gives me is enough to be soft-capped on everything except defense. Socketing Def or Power in their respective slots works best for me.
Preference really. Soulforged saves your life in an "oh s***" moment and the other one makes you little bit more tanky. Other than PvP soulforged has the benefit of only really needing a Lesser to do its job though (which is to save you from death when you mess up) which can be really nice.

Stone has better item slots you can equip and give more total stats (power, crit, and recovery). Cat is fine if you want it but in general stone is better.
Clerics in DnD are not like WoW's Priest. Clerics can heal but are NOT heal bots like they were in WoW. This isn't WoW. There will probably never be a WoW like healer in this game.
They could have 5-1 buffs over nurfs and people would quit because the one nurf. I am personally excited to have some change. Good/Bad/Or Otherwise. (Though the hammer nurf was a bit harsh haha)
I think I can help here. Forgemaster's flame is amazingly good healing but you must be close and the target cant die or else it stops healing.
