When it works right (and I can't say I've ever used this map), right-clicking on the room in Layout mode brings up a "Properties" dialogue for the room itself.
To me this almost sounds like some of their individual internal servers are not getting updated, that's why switching instances can sometimes correct the problem, but not always.
I like the idea of making some quests "fall off" the tabs after certain criteria are met. But let's not totally remove them from the catalog. Should at least be searchable still. And just because something hasn't been played in X days doesn't mean it won't ever catch on again. For a campaign that has many parts, maybe it…
It's way more than 100 plays. Undercover Brother has 334 plays and 170 reviews, an adjusted rating of 3.89 and an actual average rating of 4.2. So it's still got a decent ways to go before the adjust rating matches its "true" actual rating.
The "New" tab got screwed up when they had to republish every single quest as part of the Feywild update. So essentially everything is considered "New" because the system thinks they were first published on that day. It should go back to normal once enough time has passed. (How long does something stay new anyways? About a…
Woohoo! Congrats on the video, this is sweet! :D And yes, it's submitted for featuring. Apparently their attempt to hit the feature button for it failed for some reason, so I republished it and I'm waiting to see if that fixes it.
Projectors are annoying. Check the "DM Studio" quest and see if they're still working in there. If so, follow his instructions for setting the pitch and yaw and whatnot. If not, it's likely a bug impacting projectors all around.
Cryptic has said they are thinking about it and considering it for a future enhancement. As far as answering "Why" they haven't allowed it yet, it's pretty easy to figure out. They'll have to change their entire model to not only support but promote Foundry creations to be played by groups of players at the same time. I'd…
If your quests still aren't showing up at this point, I'd recommend manually republishing them. Two of my three had shown up, but the third hadn't. I went in and manually republished it, and it's there now.
I'm not saying that re-publishing the Featured quests first was wrong. I'm just saying the way it played out - with Featured quests published, played, and tagged, and then tagging disabled so that no non-Featured quests could be tagged whatsoever - is a bit unfair. As if showing up at the top of every tab isn't enough,…
The tag bar graphs are worthless for existing quests because it's a percentage of the total reviews, including the thousands of reviews that happened long before the tag system existed. It should be changed to be scaled against the total number of reviews that included tags. They should work better for new quests.
"Scrapped" is probably a bit extreme. "Changed" is possible and likely I'm sure. To address your points: - Yes, the sort order should somehow be effected by the amount of tags applied to the quest. I would even say that it should be sorted by percentage of tags rather than sheer number. Say a featured quest has been tagged…
A fun thing we started doing on Scribes' Enclave is posting screenshots of glowing 5-star reviews and useless 1-star reviews when they appear back-to-back. Pretty funny when you look at the extreme opposite reactions like tha
1. Timer objects - This has been discussed plenty, so I'll just say that the workarounds are cumbersome and unreliable and this feature could single-handedly change the face of Foundry quests. 2. "Make your own encounter" ability - I'm getting sick of reskinning the same encounters over and over again, and then realizing…
Thanks for the update, and I think most of us understand that you're trying to be extra careful as to not screw something up that could be irreversible. So how we looking on the republish progress? The Featured quests are available and continue to get even more plays and attention, while the rest of us languish waiting for…
