Putting it a bit strongly. The are always exploits in MMOs and given enough time the economy recovers. Problem is there seems to be a new major exploit every couple of days here........

Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place. Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you are, by definition, not smart enough to debug it.
Yes but things would still be different. The AD-Zen exchange rate could be different after a wipe, meaning you could have less zen or less AD than you previously had. I know alot of people who bought zen, and cashed in on the easy AD at the start, and will be reselling the AD for Zen when the rate lowers.
People who got Nightmare mounts or the Phoenix companion would be screwed, since they might not be able to get it again using the same number of keys (I know my wife got the phoenix after 2 chests, a guildie the mount after 3)
Not to mention if it was already stated that there would not be another wipe and they did anyway people could demand their money back for the zen they purchased. Doesn't matter if its right or wrong they would and if PWE didn't give it to them the **** storm from the PR would probably cost them twice as much in the long run. Bait and switch is a bad thing.

If I was PW right now, I'd be packing in my pants about what to do. Ever wondered why the long drawn out silence even about responding to known issues? A simple, "We are aware of the issue and looking into it." would suffice right? But nothing, gee I wonder why.
PW has a history of ruining games. Don't worry, it'll only get worse. I don't want to start all over again though. A wipe will make a lot of people rage and quit. And it won't just be the cheaters. I do agree that the amount of level 60s now is really ridiculous. Maybe the level cap will increase and content will be harder from then on? Who knows.
Imho, so many players have used and abused so many ways to level and cheat their way through to max level and in my eyes, these people have already quit the game.
There should be a full game wipe of all characters once all the issues are fixed and rectified.
I honestly could give 2 ****s if people are exploiting to "level". Its pointless and it makes me /lol. Seeings how I casually played and got to 60 in 3 days. For all I care, they can give brand new accounts instant lvl 60's, it affects me in no way.
When people are exploiting to get double the gear from Delve boxes is when I care. Other than that, I'm not sure why anyone cares at this point. It will eventually be fixed, and OMG! People will have to play normally and lvl to 60 in 3 days just like I did.

Time = money. You want wipe, pay people for time they lost. Another thread made by crying emo kid.

Yet your suggestion would instantly kill it. Seriously I know about 20 people playing this game, none of whom have exploited all of whom would leave if a wipe happened after they said it wouldn't. I have to believe this is fairly representative.

Still not sure how this is a make/break for a game, that has only been out 18 days. They already fixed the exp exploits in the Foundry, so whats your problem? It will all eventually get fixed. If you wanna ragequit cuz some <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> exploited to level 60 in 4 hours and it took you 18 days, who cares? The game is brand new. Imo the only forum they should have at all when a new game is released is a "Report Bug" thread. Anything else should be deleted. Sick of all the cry baby emo cutter threads of nerf this nerf that buff this buff that, wha wha wha I cant figure out how to heal or how to tank or how to beat a rogue in pvp so make me better posts. Its laughable, the only reason I even waste my time on this stupid forum is because I am work and cant actually play. I spend my time actually playing, and learning my class, .....maybe you trolls should follow my lead and do the same.

Well you are completely and utterly wrong as person after person is trying to tell you. You're being incredibly over dramatic and lack a fundamental understanding of mmos it appears. A wipe would do far, far more harm than good and PW knows this which is why it will never happen.

Wiping everyone's characters would be FAR more damaging than you can seem to comprehend. They'd lose half their players overnight.

Clearly you have no idea how much *free AD* has been added in from these exploits and to top it off, free AD = free Zen which is less revenue for PW.

I did, they fixed the issue but the AD has already been injected into the game with no roll backs.
