I must complain, 2 of my friends somehow managed to login 5 mins before the timer ran out, they dont have founders pack nor hero of north pack. Im reliving d3 launch again, oh boy, 1 hour and 15 mins already restarting the launcher like <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> trying to login. Im mad because my friends logged in 5 mins before my timer ran out.
let them complain, it keeps me entertained untill they get the issues fixed, ive been waiting a year to play, whats a couple hours more. (tho that could be the percocet talking)
white screen, that basically means it won't patch at all. You broke the patcher. I will try downloading it again maybe someday I will get to play. If it does not work after re-downloading, I am done. Already mad that I downloaded this game 10 days ago and now,on launch day cannot play.
I know just annoyed at the brats whining and thinking everything will be delivered to them on a silver plate. This time they want a fix on a silver plate out of thin air. That's not how it works really.
Maybe it's just me, but I always have this expectation that technology will, you know, work.

I thought the purpose of an open beta was to surface these types of load related problems? sounds like while the launcher isn't working as intended, the test is... so nice job testers!
I personally find the people who whine about others complaining to be more annoying than the original complainers. At least -they- have a reason to complain. Y'all are just being contrary for the sake of it. Furthermore games that aren't allowed criticism will develop poorly.

No MMO has ever had a smooth launch. Complaining is pointless.
As to anyone complaining, this is pretty well expected to happen during main release days; doesn't matter how much stress testing u did.
As for those complaining about attitude; welcome to the f2p crowd. They are an ungrateful, spiteful, and selfish mob of internet armies that do this to every f2p now; like a plague of locusts ... And they say BR's are bad...

For those of you on Windows 7:
Go to: C:/Users/Public/Games/Cryptic Studios/Neverwinter/Live/GameClient.exe
Run as administrator. This will take you to the login screen bypassing the "White Screen Boss"
Account servers however are OP and timing out anyone trying to get on

there is literally no difference in a launch and an open beta for a F2P game. None. I defy you to prove otherwise.
As a programmer, when I was asked when it would be fixed, I would reply, "A lot sooner if you would quit bugging me!" Giving an ETA is pointless because then everyone would take it a gospel. PinPoint is good at keeping us updated so give them a chance to work without jostling their elbows.
