We are extremelly gratefull for new snail animation show.
But honestly - is that Dev's have nothing better to do nowadays? Fix this fvcking bug damn.
Why we are so ignored, not enough ZEN transfered?

I can buy Snail, but why I cant buy "Root FIXed" animation? Need I buy whole game, .
Either fix perma root or give me perma freeze. A control wizard should have the best CONTROL in the game.

to said the truth i met CW who achieved perma control/freeze, it was only once and i cant find the way out, but as i said it was only once, these Hrs grow in numbers every day

You should be happy about that Hr is far weaker then Tr GF OP CW and of all classes exept maby TR and CW others rather face HR then the rest of the classes.
Only reason the endless qq is going on about Hrs is that both Tr and CW happens to be the most vocal when they face some opponent they cant roll over while yawning....
Not that if not all but but the absolute majority of Hrs would love to give up daze for some deacent damage and survivability.......... or fixed melee range paths....
Seeing CW qq about Hrs is rather hilarious considering how they fair in pvp and laugeble when it comes to Trs...
I play trapper as an alt but i didn't take the CD reduction feats so i'm not 100% permaroot. I think that devs should take away some CC from trapper, give room to retaliate, and add some dps and some more survivability.
Right now HRs are not in a bad spot but it's all thanks to the fact that once they start rotating the enemy, most classes cannot move a finger until they are dead. The bad part, that must go away, is that current trapper doesn't let the enemy retaliate once caught. That's unacceptable no matter how "weak" a class is supposed to be.
Talking about the DEFENSIVE side, instead, HRs require much more skill than most classes to achieve better survivability (shorter dodges, need to time them better and mix with forest ghost and bunnyhopping/ footwork).
But overall, the permaroot HR build is among the strongest once they are decently geared. A nightmare for TRs/CWs/DCs/OPs, while GWFs and GFs have an easier time facing them.
SW (which i play also) is tricky. Very squishy but imho SB Fury builds have the best burst thanks to necro damage and if they get the HR first, they can kill it quickly with DoTs and necrotic damage even if it then starts to permaroot. Plus longer shadow slip allows SWs to avoid some CC.
When fighting a permarooter on my GWF i usually run normally towards him, then start sprinting as soon as i get in his range, cause he will 100% start his rooting rotation as soon as possible. If he wastes some of his CC on my immunity, then i have the room i need to counterattack and kill it fast.
Roots do not go through unstoppable and sprint/ shadow slip. At least this is my experience.

Coastal Snail has great animation, I Agree, but it is very hard to drive now because game has new features what makes it crash/lag... I will trade "Great Snail animation" for better working gameclient... you can even take animation away just if gameclient became stable...
Really BIG sacrifice... about HR, now worry about HR, no more pvp untill Mod8...

Eum Tr lols at Hrs with todays builds if he has a clue what he does Dc cant be killed by one OP kills any Hr or even if heavely outgeared stay alive. Gf one rotate most Hrs and Gwf sure got the upper hand in a fight with a Hr.
Thing is people dont like Hrs due to this daze root and being easy to kill once focused they become primary target and with no cc escape they go down fast due to having little defence.
Hr can lock down a cw even even some SW (not the good ones) will kill a outgeared Tr if not itc is up but will die to Trs that is geared (only OP and some exteme CW wont).
Its annoying game destroying even with to much CC but only the most well geared/played Hr can pull this off, for the rest the damage is just to low and they will be killed before they can do enough damage.
The only time Hr will really shine is as support helping to lock down others with some heavy dps killing.
Anybody that says Hr is in a good spot should play one becouse its simple not true.......
Now that I can finally post on the new forum after the last forum patch...
I can only repeat what I said before, buff HR dps encounters to comparable levels with other classes, give us some kind of cc breaker, then relagate crushing roots to pve only, or throw it away completely. Then tone down our icd mitigating feats in trapper pretty severely, fix the roots issues with elven, and against immune targets... and either buff, fix or revamp the other paths/powers.
We're just as bored and frustrated with the trapper permadaze build as you are. Options... we want them.

So patch notes are available. No fix for roots. Why I'm not surprised?
Sometimes I'm thinking, that Cryptic do some errors/bugs intensionally. After week or two they fix it, cause they know what is broken. Then they can say: look: how many things we've fix. But bugs which are result of their incompetence remained forever, simply cuase they don't know how to fix it O.o
Maybe better is to not do anything. Then nothing will have to be repaired? Correct me if I'm wrong. And recall all important incorrect working features of this game. The only fix is to removing it from game. So maybe we should expect from devs some ETA of important changes? Not new modules, we really don't want them. We want to have game we can play without frustration. Last mobs arpen change was a great evidence, that most of players have right, that something was wrong. How long we had to wait for this fix, without any word from devs. A bit out of topic, so:
What is the ETA of thorned roots bugs (interaction with elven enchant and ignoring of CC/resistance)?

Recent turn of events has led me to believe... that the devs... are actually clueless.
In light of strum's comments in one of the Elven Battel-Thorned Roots bug threads... it became evident that despite the months of protests and complaints from the community, they've relayed the relevant info that Elven Battle-Thorned Roots has bugged interaction, just last week or something...
In other words, they probably only read the Preview feedback forums. They don't know what's going on.
Stop making excuses. Be a man. If you know something to be broken, stop using it. Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'
"Recent"??? i noticed it when their "PvP Expert" were complaining about "do not be so hard on me" or "guys, i am not that good" during a live stream OR when one of them stated that "their tests showed that classes on PvP are balanced" . From that moment, I am damm sure that most devs do not play their own game at all OR, at least, most of them do not play the game on the same way as we do.
Yeah, clonky, but I expected them to read what's going on on the forums from time to time. So all this time, I assumed that they still knew what was happening... and its their prioritization that just kept pushing back the fixes to a later time.
I didn't expect that they'd not know about these issues that people have been grieving over for months and months, and it had to be relayed by strum to the programming team AFTER the SH launch, which, just by pure chance, strum decided to read the thread and said he would bring this to light to the rest of the devs.
As much as I was glad to see strum's half-a-sentence comment, since any kind of feedback/acknowledgement/just-saying-hi from the devs is always welcome, I almost wish I hadn't seen that.
Now, I'm scared of a nightmarish scenario that the devs have not been reading anything at all, not even once a month, None of the class representatives have been doing their jobs either... and in the end, all this time, as the problems keep popping up, they are totally oblivious to the fact that such problems even exist... and the devs are currently feeling really proud of a job well done with the SH... and then just take five, and then immediately move on to M8 "Underdark" without fixing anything...
That's a scary thought. If that's ever realized, that'll probably be the straw that broke my back.
Stop making excuses. Be a man. If you know something to be broken, stop using it. Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'
Maybe they are like the rest of us and finding these forums so difficult to read and follow that they completely ignore them. Maybe they suffered the same migraine triggering effects I did of the initial forum appearance that only allowed me to view them for a brief moment before feeling ill.
Whatever is going on it does feel ominous and as if a layer of separation has been intentionally put into place that can lead to no good ending.
I'd like to share a recent experience of mine during a GG match. I had the misfortune of running into a HR that, basically, toyed with everyone and anyone on our side throughout the entire match. This HR didn't do "mediocre to low" damage. He dealt a VERY decent amount of damage, all while CCing anyone/everyone he ran into. Even more than 1 person at a time. My first run in with him during this match was with an OP from my side. I play a CW and, just in case folks scoff, I'm currently using BiS in PvP gear, T. Negation, and I'm NOT a slacker when it comes to PvP. I can more than hold my own vs most folks. So I'm not a "scrub"/"newb" or squishy in the least. I'm very experienced and have been playing since closed Beta. The HR in question, took me out quickly and then took out the OP that was with me. My next run in with him was with a rogue from our side. He took out the rogue and then took me out right after. I managed to "tag" him with a few spells, and he was half dead by the time he turned his sights on me, but that was basically "gg" after that.
I notice that people have been mentioning all the roots, dazes, and dodges that HRs can do while they're perma-locking you. I also read the rebuttals (from rangers I'm guessing) about how squishy they are and how low their damage is. That their targets can easily hit them once their dazes wear off. I'd like to say, how exactly are their targets supposed to hit anything, when the HRs are also throwing partial stealth into the mix? Nothing to hit when the dazes aren't in place, still rooted, and those "lapses" in the whole daze chains are usually very very very small. I know because I've tried doing anything against these supposedly "weak" HRs and I can't get off a single spell quickly enough during most chains because those "lapses" are too small/quick. My quickest spells can't fire off because they're just interrupted.
Another thing I'd like to point out is the fact that their "disruption" shots will also disrupt and daze dodges. I've tried dodging before, slightly after, and during/while getting shot at. The silly thing just interrupts my dodge and dazes me. Against any of the many, and growing, number of rangers out there that use that particular build, that's ALWAYS their opening attack against anyone. Those folks that are running around saying to just "dodge" like crazy don't know what they're talking about or are HR lovers. You can't dodge something that'll interrupt your dodge and just daze you, leaving you open to the whole chain of hurting right afterwards. Even if rangers couldn't do a lot of damage (and that 1 ranger I mentioned in opening obviously blows THAT particular myth out of the water), how in the world are you expected to take any sort of advantage of the whole squishy-ness of the particular HR if you can't do anything at all. During the entire fight.
"If you're going to ride my HAMSTER... At least pull my hair" Taking the trash out, one badguy at a time. "Satisfaction guaranteed or twice your trash back."
HR is actually very strong when outnumbered, especially when fighting multiple less geared and less skilled people. As for you, I'm not going to write a guide for you about how to kill HRs, but you need TEB or at least Oghma, as a CW you have the ability to oneshot HRs. In my opinion HR still has the upper hand in CW vs HR, but the very top CWs can deal with most HRs and will put up a fight against the very best HRs.
most of the real elite BIS HRs IE ITem level 4.5k or more have left the game due to the class is so broken and who wants to perma anything theres just no pride in that. There are still a few really good ones left but I Never see them any more in PVP. Last one I ran into was in the Cloaks @ 4.2 IL during HE in SH but other than them I have not seen one above 4IL in a long time. With 2.7 IL I can eat a full pug group up in a short time unless an OP with them. Even then if they are not geared or over 1.5 Il the still go down after a fight. PVP is about making adjustments and getting g gear with Tenacity .Please don't complain about getting stomped if you don't have the gear and enchants. I was there started PVP level@beginning of mod 6 simply due to could not advance with out gear fought my way to full elemental burning set so it can be done now I still die but I learned strategy and quite enjoy pvp now. I acutallly carry a few of the pvp blue items for HR and when I find a HR starting out and really trying I give them away. If more Higher level PVPers did this then Game as a whole would be better jhp hope to see all in game
gweddry... Either can't read, is trolling, or mains a HR for PvP. I already stated that I'm not a scrub when it comes to PvP. I can hold my own. My gear is NOT substandard and is BiS currently outside of the new SH stuff which I don't think anyone has, barring some kind of exploit. NO one should be "very strong" when outnumbered. If you have 2+ opponents beating on you all with the same/or better gear, with as much/or even more experience than you, outside of divine intervention and hitting the jackpot, the odds of you dying to them should be fairly good. You're also telling me that I need to get, max out, and use 1 item/artifact in order to try (try being the word) and counter one class/build? How does that make any sort of sense to any sane person? Not to mention the fact that all the HR has to do is stealth for the few seconds needed to let the CC immunity expire. You're also pulling facts out of thin air. Top CWs can match and deal with top HRs? Seriously? I've yet to see this happen and I PvP more than my fair share. By the way, how the heck is anyone supposed to 1-shot anyone else when they're perma-locked and can't move, attack, or even see their opponents?
jhpnw... All you did was strengthen the issues all these folks that don't main HRs in PvP are stating. You just started PvPing with mod6, yet you can beat teams of players? You also, need to learn to read. I have the gear and I have the skills, as I already stated. You learned strategy? This "strategy" involves using a broken class/build in PvP? Wow. That's some strategy.
Also, in case you're wondering, I have a passing familiarity with all the classes due to having leveled 1 character of each up to max. So even though I'm don't know them inside and out, I'm not some kind fool talking about something I know nothing about, when it comes to classes.
