The Neverwinter launcher starts patching like normal until it reaches a percentage usually between 70% and 90% where the percentage freezes. It says for example, "Patched 22.5MB / 31 MB" and under that, steadily climbing, " Recieved 193.8MB - 72.2%". This is infuriating because you can see that it is receiving loads but it has stopped patching the game. Pls help
Seriously? 3 hours + to patch a game that I only just downloaded. And then I couldnt play because the servers were down. Came back to it this morning all excited and ready to play, but no. It needs to load the same patch that it already loaded last night!! WTF!!
Not sure if this is a patch only thread... I'm new to forum.. however , I created an account to ask thsee questions .. I can't post a new topic since I'm new... however , I hope I get some replies .
Hey guys.. I'm a lvl 64 GwF.... I'm just curious about a couple things ... can you only have one artifact able at once? I realize there are 4 spots.. but the first one in the middle is the Only one u can activate during battle???
Also, for a GWF... my stats are high in power and defense ... about 5k power and 3k defense ... critical is about 1.2k.... is that good ? I've just played this game doing my thing... I love it..
Lastly, where do I see my gear score ?? I just can see my armor score which is about 1.5k? Is that good at lvl 64... I've never spent money on it .. lol I'm still rocking my first stock horse haha
I wish I could start a new thread, I've been playing for a week or so. Anyways! I prefer to use a PS4 controller for pc games, and ds4Windows/xinput mapper works for everything else. I can check outside the game that all the keybindings are correct and active, but once I tab into the game only the mouse emulation works. I'm running the emulator as Admin.
The strange part is that xpadder Does work, so why cant I get ds4 going? I want the trackpad for mouse control in dialogue and inventory .
Anyone managed to get ds4 working with neverwinter?

The class forums, youtube or a fansite with builds would be your best bet.

What exactly are your doubts? Posting in the Tech Support Forums or on a moderator's wall would be your best bet for an answer though. This thread gets responses so infrequently that it is often overlooked when we browse the forums.

Hi, I am new and I cannot post on the forum yet. I would like to know where I can store goods from my inventory. I also need to know how to sell loot on the open market?
hi i got few questions 1. how is this game? good quests or just grinding by all time mashing 2 buttons on keyboard? 2. is it pay to win? 3. i played lot mmo only pvp what class and specialisation is good for pvp here? is it balanced?

Quests are better then WoW, voice actors are cool, npcs and art nicely come across as being art, even if some dated graphically.
Cited in this thread: You have to grind. 2. You grind a lot less if you pay. PvP I don't know about, but you know they would pay and pay more to win, so you have to (again) grind.

The thing that truly drew me to trying neverwinter is the fact that I love creating unique enjoyable adventures and sharing it with a community. It sounded like the foundry is a way for me to do this, is that correct? (after I reach lev 15 of course). Also are there limitations/restrictions to the creativity (i.e size, content, can it be like a continuous episodic adventure in a sense)?
buddy of mine told me I would like this game so I'm downloading it as I'm typing.
I know nothing about this game at all and looking for some tips or tricks
I have lots of spare time and love grinding.
ive watched some videos but they all seem outdated like 2014ish
I'm pumped to play a new mmo and maybe a new place to "hang my hat"
thanks much

Firstly, I'd recommend picking whichever race/class you think looks cool, and leveling them up from 1-60 to actually enjoy the story line and leveling process. By this I mean follow the stories in the Zones as best as possible w/o trying side ways to level up like PvP or Events....
Secondly, when ya hit 60, if ya haven't liked the class, just start another and/or continue on from 60-70 in the Elemental Evil Campaign...
Basically have fun with the game, and futz around to see what class you'd like to be, pick a main one and then go all rock star on progression and such!

Just started Neverwinter for the first time this week. Long time MMORPG'er, WoW, EQ2, DCUO, Destiny, etc., etc.,
I like what I've seen so far, very enjoyable. Good class and race selections available from the very start.
Are their any websites/links that are useful for 1st timers? I've seen one or two, but no major stickied posts on basic FAQs, Class Strats, etc.,
Happy Huntin' :)

Leveling is fun.
