I agree!!! Guardians should also jump to the front of the line after all we did pay 60$ to play this game, for what 5 bata weekends and a horse???Come on guys..think about it ..what side of bread is your butter on???
It's on the side of the bread with jam. Mmmm, jam. Seriously though, it's on the side of the bread with reasonable literacy skills. When you bought your Guardian of the North pack, did you not read what you were getting and notice the lack of VIP access? As a Guardian, I would like to respectfully ask other Guardians to shush. You are entitled to only what you paid for, and you did not pay for VIP access.

THis is very awkwars. My queue goes down pretty well but... it always jumps back up to the same exact number 18469 everytime it does spike up and goes back down lower than what it was before. Wierd bug.
I was holding off taking any sides on this, but I have to say, I tend to agree with giving the $60 supporters priority over the $0 supporters. I'm holding off on buying Zen for a few days to see if things normalize and maybe they fix the queue issues.

Actually I didn't even pay for the beta weekends. I just bought the guardian pack 2 days before the 3 day pre access on a whim.

I agree with everyone else here. Guardians get shafted, and that's just BS. Sitting in a queue that's over 6k. I've seen it jump to 35, which I understand is the bogus number, but 6k+ is not as it is slowly ticking down. There is no game worth sitting in an hour-long queue for. I cannot believe this. There were so many clues as to how big this game was going to be, and every single one of them flew over the dev's heads. This is ridiculous.
There seems to be a lot of hatred between the groups right now, and no-one comes off looking good.
The Heroes seem to be lording it over everyone. Quoting that Guardians should have read what they were purchasing more carefully (during early advertising both were listed as VIP access and only on reading the smaller print did it differentiate, so this can certainly be forgiven!). Given the state of the economies of most purchasing countries right now, paying $200.00 for a game is a pretty nice luxury to have, especially given the extremely harsh exchange rate and taxed us Europeans faced, so I think perhaps the Heroes should be happy they have the money to spend on something like this, without criticising Guardians for wanting priority access.
The Guardians should all just learn to calm down! You don't buy rights over others (unless you're the 1%-ers of the Heroes), you bought a whole lot of useful items for a game that is great fun to play. You've probably been playing this for days and you know that its going to be a game that you'll be playing for weeks to come, and probably a whole lot longer (depending on how the monetisation system pans out!). There is nothing wrong with playing a F2P game for free and there are some people who can't afford even the smaller amount of $60.00 on a game like this. What about those who paid the $20.00 cost, why shouldn't they have priority? At some point it could just become a dollar by dollar queue system where we crush those with the least money... or something.
And for all those F2P "moochers", stop acting like the Guardians and Heroes have no right to wanting priority. These guys are pretty much the game's financers. Without them, it wouldn't even be here. It's far better to have a game that you're going to play soon rather than a game that never came out at all. Don't enjoy the pain of the Guardians, because they might have been saving for some time for that purchase (I know some who did), and now all of that anticipation has left them in a queue that means they cannot play after work when someone who saw the game for the first time today downloaded it and got in ahead of them.
Oh, and let's not forget the developers. Stop saying that the queues are short. Stop calling this an "open beta" when to all intents and purposes it's a release (full price purchase options with instant rewards, no character wipes, no subsequent release date announced, I'd even bet the advertising budget was focused on this date). There has been great developer response on this forum, but it's sad to see an overly rosy picture painted of the situation. Just admit you screwed up and keep those apologies coming, so we can all be happy for the gameplay when we actually get to play it!
Right, rant over. I'm done being nasty to everyone, so hopefully we can all be nice to each other soon!

Yeah we should at least have SOME form of priority over the non contributors, even the $20 guys should have some too. But whatever, I guess I don't need to play a game that I paid MONEY for...
yea as a Guardian.. I am ticked.... this is nuts.. we should be right after the heros of the north and Non payers last... over 41k in queue are u kidding me?
Everyone just needs to chill out, its an Open Beta therefore these issues are normal, its a work in progress, so what if you cant play for an hour or two, maybe even a whole day  It will be up and working smoothly in time until then why not do something else. Not really any use complaining about it over and over again in the forums.
^^ The only sane post in this thread.

Actually, I did buy a pack. I my lovely forum title. However, I'm not whining. Please don't lump all of us Guardians in with the ones who are whining because they didn't read that they didn't get VIP access with their $60 purchase. You are not entitled to anything but what you paid for, and you did not pay for VIP access. Yes, I will continue to repeat this until you understand. I understand that may mean that I have to repeat it over and over, but I have every intention of doing so.

Some people are trolling. And some are simply saying to calm down. They're voicing their concerns over what they think. Trust me, most aren't trolling.
So, I'm sitting here eating my popcorn, and laughing at all the dismay. Those that cry, "this is the worst launch ever!!!!!" Seem to remember similar threads for STO, GW2, TOR, LOTRO, Rift, and on, and on, and on. So what does that tell you, this is a pretty standard launch for a highly anticipated game. In less than a year, Elder Scrolls Online will be the worst launch ever.
