No I dont, I never want to see it again
The short answer for me is "No", no I don't like fishing as part of a campaign quest scenario.

If I wanted to go fishing, I'd have downloaded a fishing game... it's that simple.

I started playing Neverwinter to do campaign quests, fight with sword, shield and spells in enemy occupied lands and explore dungeons with friends, family and associates and loot and pillage after a victorious adventure...

I don't mind the occasional diversion where fishing is an optional endeavor - like the Winterfest, but to have it as a mainstay of a permanent campaign quest line???

    Not so much IMO.

Yes, I like it. Give me more

Did you even read the first and last paragraphs of what you quoted? I totally agreed with what you just said. The point was that some folks were saying that Fishing doesn't belong in D&D at all, when it clearly has been there for, Gygax knows how long. That was the point, not that it should be the way it is in Neverwinter.

As being one of this "some Folks" you mentioned, I play the ball back to you: did you actually read what "some folks" wrote? Noone claimed that fishing does not belong to D&D at all. "Some folks" just stated that it is not a central part in D&D, that building a whole mod around it (which was compared to a table top evening full of fishing only) would make Gary Gygax rotate in his grave.
I disagree, for you were quite vague then if that was not your meaning:

If anyone likes a fishing simulator, Google will find you a list of arguably the "best PC fishing games". This is a D&D game, and not some silly and boring F&D (<- yes, "Fishing & Dragons") game. What's next, a Farming-Simulator 2016 adaption? I am sure, the Farmers in Rothe Valley would apprechiate our help... *rolleyes*</p>

You chose to be vague and and state, "This is a D&D game, and not some silly and boring F&D." So, perhaps a deeper look into how you're portraying your opinion would help understand why it comes across as though you could be conveying that fishing doesn't have a place in D&D. Regardless, it wasn't your post in particular that I was referring to that you interjected yourslef into the spotlight for whatever dramatic reason.

If you agree to that - as you claimed - how could you possibly vote "Yes, I like it. Give me more"??? I don't get it.

I stated why I voted that way. I am sorry that the poll choices presented are not that great to choose from but if you take the poll choices at face value and don't read the reasoning behind the vote, then I don't know what to tell you, as I've already stated my reasoning and opinions. A few times over even and yet again, as I've said a few times now also, I agree that it should not be a central part of the game... Good grief, how many times do I have to say it?

I can live with it, but I'd rather not see more of the same
    I dont like FISHING.
    I hate it, despite it.
Im done with my weapons i dont care about boons that are HAMSTER.
Now next mod i will suggest you Cryptic what my guildie said to me the other day as a joke:

Next mod make HE of 10 people where we all have to control a fish net to fish, all have to log on TS for coordination. Of course since loot table is something you guys succeed in making, i would suggest a legendary mount like a tenser for this.

I don't think that I was vague in that statement. "D&D" stands for dungeon delving, exploring, fighting dragons and other monsters. A very small part of it are skills like fishing. Mod 10.5, however, is not mainly about the things D&D stands for. Fishing is much more important, hence the "F&D" reference.

Maybe if you wouldn't defend the fishing part so vehemently, your criticism of fishing playing such a major role in this mod would be recognized better...

I don't mind it, as long as the rewards are good
Maybe if you didn't feel the need to tell someone his opinion is wrong because the poll option is phrased badly and other players feel differently, he wouldn't feel the need to keep defending his opinion?

This is a very silly argument that seems to be happening just for the sake of itself.

Feel free to "re-word" and create a better poll and we can all vote again.
