I've seen this before in another old game called Ace Online, since theres no pvp, people just won't buy things for pve and the servers barely run from the litle income they get, neverwinter is a very special game with a really enjoyable history for pve, pvp is amazing, you can feel the action, skill and knowledge that every player have earn, but pvp is now dead and at some point, pay to win players will stop playing and/or paying for things while no new players will join. If some staff or dev see this, you should review develop pvp a little more instead of breaking it.

But have you seen the new mount system, it's absolutely epic! As for the epic versions of new dungeons, we can probably expect them in due time even if it isn't on Mod 9 release.
I absolutely admire your optimism.
Am not a complete optimist, I'm still bemused why they added dragons like candy and removed dungeons, Cryptic D&D currently means a few dungeons and a whole lot of Dragons.

Who asked for remakes of the old dungeons in the first place? We asked for upgrading them to our new endgame levels not a total rework of the dungeons themselfs. Also we asked for ENDGAME dungeons, not leveling dungeons. I cant believe you spent months of work on the wrong things. Thats just wow..
The old CN was 10 times better than the new one. Time well spent making a worse version.
Well, actually, you asked, they delivered. There was no endgame Cragmire now there is, people should be careful what they scream for, they might just get it and as pointed in the dev post, Mod 9 IS aimed at endgame players.

95% of the players play or try to play endgame content and are in a gearing-up process all the time. Bots are not players...
So the devs create dungeons for EXP farming... For the few hours/days to reach level 70? All the development time! Wasted. Like SH PvP. So much love for content born dead.
I was soooo happy to play some old dungeons again and we prayed.. that we have to play them all, not only the easiest one (like in mod6...) but now:
Mod 9 1) Complete campaign for more boons 2) Grind CN for some ultra rares
Personally I would say, after the unmitigated disaster that was Elemental Evil, the game has been improving by leaps and bounds, confused why they reset things because players were getting too powerful and then add mounts that give 4k bonuses. Players would have jumped on 1k bonuses just as much but once that box is opened there is no shutting it.
I am not sure are the devs and whoever is in charge aware what is the biggest issue in the game at the moment so I will try to keep it as simple as possible: GIVE - US - MORE - END - GAME - CONTENT.

Whole content that is offered for this group of players can be highlighted using 5 fingers of 1 hand. - epic demogorgon - 6 epic dungeons that are nearly solo doable and none last longer than 15 mins (6-8 min if team is good) - 2 skrimishes - PVP (that is in horrible state in my opinion) - leveling new class

Players like competitveness - if possible I believe letting the party adjust the hardness of epic dungeon they are about to enter may contribute a lot to the game. How ? Epic dungeon have minimum entry requirement of 2000 for example - which is equal to how hard the dungeon is - let party leader adjust ( for example 3426 item level hardness ). How will that affect dungeon ? Mobs will hit harder, have more HP, move faster, their hit indication areas (red circles) will display for shorter amount of time. Rewards ? They don't have to change at all. Now part 2. Each dungeon have own leaderboard with parties (names of members) who cleared the highest Item level dungeon. At end of the week (month) - the best (or best 3) parties receive rewards for being on top of these leaderboards. There could be also an all time leaderboard that wouldn't reset just to show best of the best
Now that is what I think would fix current really poor state of the end game, and that is what I truly call dungeon delving.
make them a source to earn AD, then they would at least surve a purpose. I propose a chest the end that may or may not reward the player with a voucher that nets you anywere from 1 astral diamond up t 1,000,000! Yep, i dont care if the rate of the higher ad reward is .00001, hell i would run the dungeons and so would others, so thoughts?

I'm not sure why people don't understand this. Cryptic is targeting new players because:
a) they will pay for mounts, etc which is an influx of $ b) they will rage quit at end game and therefore will not continue to use resources c) the best part of this game is lvl 0-60
It's a good marketing strategy. The BIS players (they are already BIS) aren't giving them more money so why make them happy. End-game F2P people are using resources without making financial contributions.
So really want they want to do is manage the game like a purchased game. New people play, buy and epic mount and a couple of shiny things for $60. Play for a 4-6 weeks and they are done. They are not marketing like a subscription game trying to keep people around forever and they aren't marketing for micro-transactions (although I will admit the price cuts on things are getting them closer).
So if you pay $60 and play for a year you cost them more than the guy that pays $60 and plays for a month. They don't want your continued business, they've lightened your wallet are ready to move on to the next customer.
What I don't understand is why improve leveling when not introducing a new race/class. Am i supposed to create a new character so i can experience the massive XP increase from leveling dungeons or the new 60-69 content?
BTW if this was a single player game, I wonder how many people would delete the game and reinstall. Then never install the patches/"expansions" lol
also make mounts great again!(ha) My first epic mount was the flaming horse, well once i obtained the flail snail, what am i gonna do with the flaming epic horse? Why not make *some* mounts to were they can be unbound maybe for a price? That way i could sell the mount and maybe buy more zen, it would get AD flowign as well. Think about stores were people trade/sell their unwanted goods an get cash or in store credit, this would work like that. Ii know making mounts unbound would hurt income maybe for cryptic so only make some mounts unbound or give the player a certain number of times they can do it period, hell i would be happy just to be able to unbound a single mount
After making the change on +4 Underdark rings, I kinda felt more happy to play the game since I've dropped few +4's and stashed them in the bank. I also ran Throne skirm and EVEN FORCED MYSELF for POM....all this to get a chance for some +4 rings I would really like to have.
Hearing about those non epic dungeons asking their way back is just a huge slap in the face...this is yet another great way to push your old time players out of the game. If this goes live, I'm sure many more of them will leave or just log till their VIP is active. That's right folks, I know many players that PLAY only to get the key and open the box. Why you ask? no idea, seems dumb to be honest.
I think I will became another one of those who will just hang around and wait for a miracle that will probably never happen. I'm not stupid, I know that long time players will not give you guys more money, we have our gear, and we do not need more power since we're already plowing through stuff.
You wanted to make us quit? gg just made it, you wanted to attract new players that will spend cash on the mounts and other stuff with upcoming stables feature? gg again! you just made it.
Giving us only one epic dungeon is just....wrong, it's simply not cool.

Oh wow lmfao , the idea of reworked epic dungeons had me planning on returning to Neverwinter , I'm so glad that the developers have at least been decent enough to admit that all they could manage was one epic and a whole bunch of leveling nonsense , guess I'll be spending my money on Tom Clancy's the division , No mans sky , Horizon Zero dawn and Ghost recon Wildlands

I had planned on spending some money on getting a couple of inferno Nightmares (1 per main), to use with the new mount system (and some other accessories). But with the returning dungeons being leveling dungeons, I don't see the point in rewarding Cryptic/PWE.
Im with ya comrad, anytime a players receives upgraded rewards and has increased options bring more game playing enthusiasm. They have been heading in this direction, so...ya never know!
no i just wont run levelling content regardless the rewards. to add more, i think the lack of rewards is the main reason for which they arent releasing those dungeons as epic.

And in the end, we ALL want the game to do well, or there will be no game at all.

6 months of VIP remained, some keys to use.
BiS (4.234) GF retired. No pvp content, no pve content, just empty promises.
B&S or BD soon. 50% of my guild mate did the same.
