@pando83 Is supposed to... But i see it dont work well many times... And as u talk so much about mechanics it ignores defence and dodge but what about critical resistance? Ignored it too ? Must be since u report 100k+ damage

Ignores tenacity. Critical resistance is PART of Tenacity along with damage resistance, armor penetration resistance and control resistance.
3.6k TR in PvE gear. From stealth. Focused on me. 113-123k SE on 2k tenacity GWF. Mythic devoted sigil. Spammed. The. Whole. Match. Couldn't move a step, the guy was basically running around in stealth waiting for the moment to get a free, cheap kill.

I only hope that before mod8 comes, the devs do one of those "please tell us what you think" feedback threads. There are some things about PvP that have a wide consensus, despite different classes and points of view, and I dearly wish the community gets a chance to express/present those directly to the developers... a chance to plead and explain why it is a problem... a GUARANTEE that someone from development is listening.
Stop making excuses. Be a man. If you know something to be broken, stop using it. Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'

You know, I must say that I find it funny that a thread requesting TR nerf still exists.. But given the fact that if Executioner is truly fixed one day.. it might be right
The reason why Shocking is piercing damage is because the dev's Knew they we're going to continue to add more defense as the game progressed, they wanted shocking to do a set amount of damage and to stand the test of time... but even with that, on a BiS level, shocking over performs, and under performs in various scenarios.
Obviously against SW & GWF, Shocking is hardly fair...
but if you throw any healing class into that fight, shocking in its current state (Atleast used from a sabotuer TR) Is pretty close to balanced and even on the lower end of the performance spectrum.
I gave this issue a lot of thought, and I have to sympathize with both parties on this subject. My solution is this:
Have Shocking Execution respect tenacity (this will bring it inline for GWF's and SW's)
But what the game really needs shocking to do right now is this..
increase healing depression by a flat 100% for (X) amount of seconds. Shocking should be used to help secure kills on a point and disallow healers or paladins to just "Lol.. 1 button heal" the victim back to full. This will add tons of new roles to the fight for TR while also nerfing the damage and potency it has on GWF's and SW's if these 2 new additions are respected
Let me put some myths to bed people. 100k+ shocking dosent exist consistantly without outside help

The most my BiS toon (when speced to Ex) ever accomplished on a SE was around 105k, but to achieve this i needed a to sacrifice the majority of my tools any viable TR would use for PvP and add buff potions and first strike
with buffs from other classes, of course the skys the limit.
But speaking as a premade TR, that tracks all my fights against other people at my item level. shockings average damage is 40-50K on ACT after a match of SE's.
100k+ are possible without outside help - but I get your point that you have to sacrifice other aspects to reach such high numbers. Well, on another note, it shouldn't be possible at all to build 1-shot HAMSTER, no matter what you have to sacrifice.
You are build for PM matches - fine! But other people still suffer the unbalanced SE in PvP in PuG matches.

The "sacrifice" certainly seems a lot less in a pug environment... No doubt, TR's in general might just be the ultimate pug stomp class currently.. It always has been with exception to module 4 (A moment of silence).
But in the environment that classes should be tested in (Equal Gear) and especially at a top level. Specing for the 1 shot means losing all viability in a 1v1, 2v2, or 3v3 if that first 1 shot is missed; not to mention that you can't 1 shot the majority of classes.

Of course I understand that PvP is not an enviornment where everyone has the same gear.. But at the end of the day, All classes perform exceptionally well vs any other class that is not up to the same gear level.
I can pull apart any class in this game and prove in various ways how it isn't fair. After all, the majority of the classes and their metas at the moment are based of either broken bugs, or unfair tactics... the metas would've never became popular if they weren't the best.
Instead of wasting our time with balance right now, I suggest we allocate all of our efforts to fixing the MANY bugs that plague every class. Only when everything is fixed, can we begin to balance it properly.

I Implore the community, Please submit an ACT log that has an average Shocking Execution damage of more then 55K from a PvP match. Then we can submit it to the developers and get it the proper attention it deserves.
Otherwise, this is all just hearsay to the developers, and they probably couldn't care less.

ALL Simply ignored as i said SE/ Piecing dmg ignore everything, not Only all DR,
also any kind of Defence-
(there's situation when SE Crit's they can ignore everything!)
(TR is supposed to do dmg (alright) BUT Not just by pressing 1x Button and Killing you-
that dmg is way too much and just absurd, Ridiculous High!)
